Why do you start with verse 8? And why do you skip over the portion after Jerusalem is surrounded by armies? You are using these scriptures out of context.
No they are not out of context at all. I have taught other messages and series and gone through Mt.24, Mk.13 and Lk.21 systematically in exact context giving timescale, order of events etc. This message is set primarily in the context of this hour and the beginning of sorrows which comes prior to Jerusalem being encompassed by enemy armies. As it happens these three chapters in the Gospels follow a pattern and order. Jerusalem encompassed lines up with the abomination of desolation. But all that aside this is a message in reference to the mind and fear concerning end days. That's my priority and its not out of context.
