I still play it event though my ps2 stopped working a long time ago. I just use a ps2 emulator on my computer and you can play every ps2 game for free. It only took me about 30 minutes to get everything working but if it's your first time trying to figure out how to make it work, it'll take a few hours but it's well worth it.

The near perfect physics mechanic in this game has solidified it as a cult classic. For some reason developers moved away from a true physics engine after this one.
I never understood that as I’d go year after year to look for a new game but never came. And your so right about the physics because almost 20 yrs later and we are just now creating games that will compete with it:)
I'm a speedrunner in ATV Offroad Fury 2 and i'm still impressed by the gaps they pull off at times. Even though I beat them very easily even in expert mode using the slowest atv class, at certain jumps they're still more consistent than I am lol
This game has captured my soul since it came out and I played with my best friends so it has such an incredible value to this day for me. I love it so much. 💜💖💜💖💜.....I made this comment such long time ago .. and the nostalgia has captured the essence of my soul ❤❤ Life is so incredible 😂
@@Raiders1917 I didn't like them because they were popular, they were truly on a league of their own based on how fun they were when I was playing as a child and how I see others viewing them as far as how great those two games were. I never played Underground 2 though. I wish I had that game because I'm sure I really would have had a lot of fun with it as a kid. Some of my friends played it when they were kids and they really loved it.

Every day after school I would go to the YMCA while my mom was at work and man they had these game stations all lined up around ranging from xbox, ps2 gamecube. I recall playing this a lot along with amped 2 damn good times.
Right now I’m 15, and this game was my childhood. I remember two of the maps, one map was a large circle with bumps on the top and the bottom, yeah the map was a waiting line shaped race track, that took place in a stadium, and you gotta zoom right and left and right and left it was amazing. And I always mained the ravage talon, seeing this video invokes feelings in my I haven’t felt in years.
This really brought back some great memories my favorite game i love how accurate Riding was from landing preloading shocks and tire speed now i want to find a copy and play
Me and a friend played free roam for hours... Great game back then and still is. I wish we could get a remaster. I loved riding the utility style Polaris atv for fun.
Those songs were in Offroad Fury 1 but I do much prefer ATV 1 music over 2's. I still like 2 better overall because the circuits are amazing and it has a much better career mode as well :)

This was the best ATV game ever made and MX Unleashed was the best mx game ever made. The sounds of the bikes and rider physics pisses over any of the new current games. So much more fun. Developers need to adopt this style and sound in the new games desperately
I have this game on a PS2 emulator on my computer and i'm learning how to speedrun it as it is very fun to learn. It's only been not even 6 days since i got this game and i've already self learned all the optimal jump patterns for almost every track in the game! Very fun game, wish I played it as a kid like I did with ATV Offroad 1 and 4. I can't get 3 to run smoothly on my computer though and I still play 1 and 4 but 2 is the most fun to speedrun :)
It was just something about old games like this that made you seem like you were going so much faster than you really were. It was great. The pacing of these classics have just not been matched since tbh

He uses a ps2 emulator and plays it on a pc. You can adjust your graphics quality in the emulation settings but, even though it's an old ps2 game, you still need a moderately fast computer because of how the game was emulated to make it functional to play on a computer. I don't have the best computer so I use native ps2 graphics personally.

Holding the buttons to do a nothing (basically a jumping jack over the ATV) and driving around was hilarious cause you look like a glitch.
Get Midnight Club 3: Complete Edition Remix. It's the most fun racing game on PS2 imo and it's just so darn chaotic in a good way lol Burnout 3: Takedown is also a legendary game as well and I wish it could run smoothly on my computer :/ I first played ATV 2 a few days ago and it is so fun as well, definitely my favorite ATV Offroad Fury game out of the three that i've played (1, 2, and 4)

It's not a glitch, it's a feature. It was in the first game too and the rider even has a unique yelling sound when he or she is in the air
