@@terry.1428 much harder, chaos' focus/ammo management is a lot more trivial compared to Asuke, chaos just has the one input for each, Asuke has his mana bar to manually charge, different inputs for different speeds (there are certain spells to help recharge, but not that common), 4 slots of spells that more times than not need to be manually reloaded, each a different input again, knowing what spells generally do with there being around 30 I believe? then also remembering there's 3 decks of spells to switch between depending on the situation/matchup, it's just a lot of management that for the first 2 hours I felt like my brain was gonna explode lmao
@@Damoo2k definitely will be more rewarding over time, a lot of it will be down to pure muscle memory, I've noticed you can cancel all his special moves, I figured at first you could only cancel say a chant into a bookmark once, but you can keep doing it for each slot, so if you had one bookmarked on P but K, S and HS weren't bookmarked you can essentially go 236P into, 4P, 4K, 4S and 2HS all after the other, giving you all your moves back without having to do the manual input for each, I feel that plus timing your mana recover will be key, some spells combo a lot easier and some are more lockdown/zoning, so once you to start figure what's what and get used to those inputs you can get really into it, just gotta be careful with that meter, I've noticed a lot of the time personally for me I was recovering mana with the tension bar, seems to be the most effective way as its pretty quick and you gain tension quite fast with him, it's a lot to take in and I have the concept on my head, it's just actually doing it all in a game which can be pretty overwhelming at first 😅 but overtime I know can get used it and I feel the rewards will pay off, especially when you bring the other 2 decks into play
this is so awesome to watch and study, its really interesting to see the multitude of ways that asuka can interact depending on what matchup it is, or what test case he uses. awesome vid
Asuka is probably the hardest character to play right now in ggst imo.
Harder than Chaos ?
yes, way harder lol

@@FooGeeWick do you think overtime itll become easier and more rewarding like how it was for jacko/ HC? Or will it be more difficult and more time
