    That letter she read to the Torres was absolutely vile, and to think that was the apology letter.
    Life in prison, and the key will get tossed.

    She is a vile poor excuse for a human being. She deserves life in prison. Her statement was filled with lies! She is extremely hateful. She is sick & demented. Thank for a great video. Keep up the excellent work.

      She's not going to be able to pull the wool over the eyes of the women in the prison she's headed to. They will nail her to the wall with her deception and manipulation. The women in jail are wannabes compared to the women in prison.
      I actually think that Sarah believes her own lies. She makes no distinction between actual behavior and a desire to be someone she's not. She's been lying to herself so long she thinks her lies are reality. And she runs nothing past anyone with wisdom who cares enough about Sarah to confront her about her inconsistencies.

  • @teresathayn5170
    @teresathayn5170 День назад +5

    I was married to a severely narcissistic man for 20 yrs. When he was confronted about something he'd done wrong, he'd lie. Months later, when asked about this transgression again, he'd repeat the same lie. I said "You know that's not what happened." He'd say "Yes, it was!" having convinced himself of his own lie by then! Over time, they believe their own lies! That's exactly what Sarah's done! She's nuts!!

    Sarah's statement to the court at her sentencing just proved what almost all of us already knew: she's a wholly self-centered sociopath, devoid of any real humanity. Judge Kraynick had to let her have her rant, I suppose. Thank goodness he had the last word here.

    👏 👏 👏 🎉 Baruch Hashem! Thank God, the Judge got it right. Watching & listening to the Torres family just broke my heart. Owens could not even manage to call it murder. He referred to it as an “event.” Boone’s testimony was over the top arrogant. I could not be more appalled. Even Darrell Brooks had more remorse (of course he did kill a lot more people). She needs to be realigned with the norms of human adult reasoning. Both she and her attorney are deceived about what reasonable behavior and human responsibility entail. Good luck Sarah. May you do well in prison. You excel at everything.

    I think Sarah is trying to do the right thing. She probably did experience terrible domestic violence. But this is not the right place to divulge the details. This is the place and time to take personal accountability for her own situation. She was violent too. Jorge ended up dead. Her own alcoholism contributed greatly to the situation. She put her own problems and her relationship ahead of the wellbeing of her son. She did not support herself financially or try to stop her own addictive behavior. She cannot let go of her own sense of superiority. She wants to speak of forgiveness but clearly has not forgiven and is holding massive resentment, keeping herself a victim.

    I’m not sure what the pomp and circumstance of these hearing is all about. The judge had already made his decision before hearing anybody speak. That is evident based on how quickly he passed sentence. If there’s zero possibility of the judge taking any suggestions under advisement, what is the point of having witnesses speak on behalf of Sarah Boone? Or any other defendant? I’m still a little concerned that the state didn’t really PROVE with physical evidence that it didn’t happen the way she says it happened. Yes, her story is kind of absurd. But that’s not for the jury to decide. The jury’s job is to answer the following question- did the state PROVE, using EVIDENCE (not logic) that their theory is correct and hers is incorrect. Beyond that, they have no business pontificating about what she was or was not thinking…. unless she wrote it in a diary or something.
    Do i personally think she is guilty of manslaughter? Definitely. Do i think she’s guilty of the murder charge? Possibly, yes. Do i think there was physical evidence that clearly and convincingly PROVED the murder charge? Not really.
    But alas. Here we are. Insufficient evidence is almost impossible to prove on appeal. There is nothing judges live more than rubber stamping jury verdicts. So, she’ll die in prison now. Shoulda taken the stupid deal, Sarah….

      Judge Kraynick possibly had a long speech followed by a downward departure sentence but 5 seconds into Sarah blaming everyone ,(including the Torres family) he changed it to life. That’s very possible.

      I thought the judge going directly into sentencing without any further comment was brilliant. It was direct, abrupt, even. And I'm willing to bet it caught Sarah off guard and infuriated her. (Whether or not she'd ever admit that, I think we all know the answer. ) I would imagine anything he could have said would've simply fed into Sarah's victim mentality, and she'd more than likely have used whatever he could have said within her inevitable appeal, meaning she'd likely say, "See? The judge was biased, he was mean, cruel, and I'm still the real victim... of Mr. Torres and his family, of the judicial system, of the media.. forever-uh." (And I'd bet my left leg she'd use her Prison Preacher voice then, too.) 🤷‍♀️
