Dylan Talks Tone Recieves Commision From Some Of These Links
Making cables is an incredibly valuable skill. And it’s not difficult. Solder typically knows where to go.
When you said, I'm need my helping hands, I honestly thought you meant Lesley! 😂
Great show Dylan 👍
That is totally cool! Definitely makes for a cleaner pedal board and higher quality!
It’s easier to work from the top when undoing the braiding.
Also if you don’t have helping hands stick the plug into a pedal to hald it. 😁
What are some of the better-quality pickup wire manufacturers and retailers to purchase the wire from?
Funny. I’ve solderd hundreds of those and I still watch to see if I can learn something new. Haha.
Thanks For Sharing Dylan 🧠🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
I loved making all of my custom cables for my board. I ordered all the exact same stuff from Redco awhile back. Those cables and connectors are as strong as it gets. Super fun making them too and easy. Great vid Dylan1
This is freaky, I just ordered materials to make cables!
These are nice connectors. I like the tab for the ground cause as you mentioned, the ones that you have to solder to the casing is a pain.
Great video thank you
😂Nice work, but... Get a fine gauge wire stripper, dude! You have great skill with the sharp pocket knife, but a lot of people seeing this will think this is the normal way to do it. You know it's not come on man😂
I have one. This is faster
@@DylanTalksTone no doubt! The strippers work great but get dull very fast, and then you wind up pulling as much as cutting. Carry on, you have excellent videos, sir.
There is a 'l' in so-l-der ;)
Soldered probably hundreds of jacks in the past 50 years or so but great to see it done by a pro.....these sorts of "obvious" things are too often overlooked. Nicely done, cheers.
Hello Dylan and friends
I like it before I even see it. I'll need to catch this later.
