Sucks that Miyazaki never fleshes out the new magic he adds. All of the spell categories should have had this amount of variety. Briars are so cool conceptually and in lore, but they only get 2 medicore spells.
This absolutely feels like the one of the best melee classes in the mod, Eochaid's Dancing Blade is absolutely insane with the right build, staggers most bosses and bleeds them immediately.
I particularly love how some of the spells in this class are corrupted versions of existing glintstone spells. Crystal Burst, Gavel of Haima, Carian Slicer, Comet, Adula’s Moonblade, Starlight etc. Its a smart way of reskinning spells that also fits with the lore of blood sacrifices creating red glintstone.
Even though neither of them are very good, the thorn and magma sorceries are my favorite spells in the base game, and I'm glad the convergence mod did both of them justice. With that in mind you'll never guess what class you should do next...*cough* volcanist *cough*
Thorn sorceries feel unique in elden ring became of the self damage. It was both interesting from a lore perspective of sacrificing your body to cast spells and from a gameplay perspective of trading health and hemorrhage buildup for cheap spells.
Also it's kinda fun that when you got rot from Malenia's my first reflex was to craft and gulp up the pill mid-fight, because Convergence allows crafting mid-fight. And yes I do this often enough for it to pop up in my head in appropriate times on footage :D
honestly love your vids of these, man. I will say: both necro and mystic are summoner classes. they're still solid but they also buff summons n stuff. that's all, good stuff as usual :)

The Abberant Heretic is an interesting case, as it almost feels as if it and the Blood Initiate should’ve swapped their health-related costs. However, yeah this class is cool. Telekinesis is cool, the sheer volume of red and thorns is both romantic and deadly, the recoloured Glint sorceries make some sense from a lore perspective; overall, a very fun class.
I dont know why but i love the outfit on this character i was drawn to it and picked it before i even knew what the other classes were. I cant believ this mods free with all the things it adds and the work it took to make it fromsoft needs to hire these people (i just got the mod myself today and am driving in head first)

I played more the melee part of the class, and i can say for certain, its ridiculously more overpower than using the sorcery. With the executioner sword, malenias rune and all melee related briar buffs sorceries you basically become a bloody lifesteal god. Damage? Absurd, malenia? From boss to runefarm easily staggered using telekinesis shell, healing? Sadistic glee and executioner sword ash of war and you can outheal any(oumost) attack, barely used healing flasks 10/10 perfectly balanced class
I can't believe he doesn't rage like if he is about to kill a boss and dies he's like "aww were getting there" if that happened to me i would be on my way to get a new controller.

How are you able to use a controller I noticed there's no mouse icon so I'm assuming g you're using a co troller with the mod but whenever I try to play the mod I can't seem to have my controller work with the mod and it won't connect
oh, i'm sorry to hear that. I haven't encountered that problem as I am using a controller, it could be a steam issue or a mod issue. I would ask the mod creators over on nexus mod or their discord which u can find on their twitter. I hope you find a fix!
that elemer dude is one fucked up boss. he has high damage, attacks that can reach across the room ,fast attacks that can be difficult to dodge, and he's very aggressive Also, he is so much harder than his area would suggest. he feels like he should be in the bowels of caelid, where all the horror birds are, and not in the easy to navigate/clear shaded castle. Also x2, why is the bleed boss in the poison swamp castle? that feels like a servant of rot area.
It sucks they don't let you wear the red outfit of the guilty with the thorns on head instead they give a ugly hood like thing they really didn't show it good love for magic users yeah we have the aberrant set but not the aesthetic i want. Who else wish you could have it in the game like the outfit of the enemies of the guilty that hang with the fire monks

Fun Fact: Briars of Punishment is actually quite good against Malenia in base Elden Ring since she doesn't dodge it and since it has pretty big range.
The reason the stat requirements are so low s because it's supposed used in conjunction with melee weapons

you want stagger try leaden maul , poise break every 2 ash of wars.

Skard is just a crucible knight so he’s really ez to parry. Completely changes the fight to make him no obstacle at all.
