My 16 JKU with the black dials on the tach and speedometer make it impossible to see them on a really bright sunny day here in Colorado. I was just commenting recently how it would be nice if there was a replacement panel on the roof that would allow light through to see the gauges. And here it is! Thanks for sharing this.
I notice the rail drip pails are missing, that is one feature I think ClearLidz should have definitely incorporated in this design. other than that, looks fantastic. i'd love to see how it looks with the sunshade installed too.
THE BOX WAS ALMOST OPEN DURNING DELIVERY BY FED X LOTS OF PACKING TAPE FROM FED X TO REPAIR BOX, THE SMALL BOX FOR HAND BOLTS WHERE OPEN AND FLOATING AROUND IN SIDE OF BOX . SHOULD BE HELD TOGETHER WITH PLASTIC STRAPING .ON OUTSIDE OF MAIN BOX
I've seen those before, and always wondered how they work in person! How does the shade work? The freedom tops are so cool though (even the factory ones!), I wish there was a decent option for a TJ haha.

I’m definitely interested in the total review but for me I live in Central California and the summers are brutal here, sunny every day and no brake from the sun at all so to me this would definitely amplify the sun to create heat to cook up a brisket in the cab!…🍖
Haha love us some brisket! We are in socal, and it gets really hot here too. Luckily it's tinted and had no issues when we drove it to Vegas, multiple 100+ degree days. It's been fine
