I know its a joke that you guys are making but his father is actually from north korea. His father basically moved to south korea during the korean war and hes from hamgyeong province.
The thing about Psy is that he has written, peoduced and helped a lot of other artists with their music like Rain and his recent song the best present. He was recently on knowing brothers, a Korean variety show, talking about how everything he creates now is compared to Gangnam style.
