A Salaam alaikum Look for a book called stories of the prophets by ibn katheer. It tells the story of each prophet in order. It's a very nice book.

What to do if you get no marriage proposals, but wish to be married?
Do activities you like, attend Islamic lectures, tell genuine friends maybe they know someone pious who wants to get married and don't forget to pray and do istighfar
You should get married to someone who is compatible with you. Being compatible with your partner makes your marriage last longer. Through this relationship of Husband and Wife, the two must implement the Fard Duty to Allah. Be Dutiful to Allah and to each other. Allah has rights over you, your body has rights over you, your wife and children have rights over you, your neighbor and your guest. A marriage is to be consented by both parties agreeing to it with their own will and proceed to follow the Islamic way of marriage. A forced marriage is not a marriage, that is indeed haram and not advisable. And no marriage doesn't have to be for love. But marriage must be agreed upon both parties.
my parents are going to choose my husband, im not really going to have any say in it. and getting to know the guy is way out of question here . i would probably meet him when my nikkah is done. i mean my parents arent going to choose bad for me but i know they would go for the worldy established than the one whom prays. but i really want a pious, good, respectful and the one who keeps ALLAH SWT first... so my question is how do i ? like do i just make dua? since i have no say in anything about my marriage ( coming from a pakistani family) pls give me some advice itd be really appreciated. jzk khair

I want to for the sake of Allah and all other reason has Islam the centre of it. Then started self development by taking courses, learning about Deen but most of the world does not think in that manner hence, people with such mindset gets the shortest end of the stick.

@@Mooooon2011 Yes I know women don't like to accept that. But you should also keep in mind that everyone wants children. So why would a man stay childless when he can easily marry someone else and have kids 🙂
