This looks like the Roubidoux Creek near Waynesville, Missouri. I fish there when I visit my folks every summer. Last summer, I was catching them on the new Crube.
if you are using a heavy or power heavy with fast action with that lure, as hard as it is, with trebles you can't really set the hook hard. lost too many that way as well lol. i almost bought this lure today....looks like i should have! i went with the magdraft and didn't get bit once...off to academy tomorrow for the trace! lol
Im curious what rod and reel and line you are using . It seems like maybe your rod needs more flex to so that the treble hooks sink in more. Its hard to see thst your rod is a lews speedstick but maybe a more softer rod flex and lighter line may help better hook set? Just some thought
Second time in a row that I have fished the creek the day before you post a new video. Received my 2, 6th Sense Traces yesterday while I was fishing. Wish I would have had one with me! Getting closer to that elusive 20 inches. Nailed a nice 18 inch yesterday morning. Really need to try the late afternoon and evening bite. Great video as always.
Do u still catch smallies in mid October because I’m going smallie fishing then and I was wondering if they still bite, if so what should I throw that time of year
Well, this is great to watch when you have 3 in shipment to you lol. Can't wait
Nice fish! What rod, reel and line combo are you using? I just got some of these but don’t know what gear to throw it on
Fun to watch as always buddy! 7 20’s on the year. Your setting up to have a great deer season
love your enthusiasm keep it up Tyler
Thank you!
Good stuff. Love slinging the big swimbaits.

any creek with smallmouth is fun to fish 🤷♂️
How heavy of rod are you throwing the big swimbaits on? I assume those baits over 1 ounce or more??
Awesome video Tyler. Man, your creeks look super cool. Nothing like that up here in MA.
Thanks man they are pretty awesome!
One of the best fishing channels on RUclips 🤙

Tyler have you tried out the bfs reels yet? I got the new shimano corrado bfs today going to see if it can take the place of my spinning reels
