Bucky! Can you make tutorials on the Win32 Gui API in C/C++ and then as a follow up with OpenGL for game development? Personally I'd rather code stuff myself instead of relying on some sort of designer or whatever :P Please thumbs up this comment so that Bucky can see. And Bucky if you read this Please at least say yes or no or how you'd rather do it. Thanks for the great tutorials and as always your tutorials are 100% better than my expensive C++ book...
Complexity is fun, I avoid the drag and drop of QT. I'm not saying QT is particularly good but WINAPI is full of remnants from the 16 bit era which are useless timewasting and yet another thing that should have been fixed years ago.
I feel as if you're skipping a lot of things. I do understand what you're doing and stuff. But once I'd be on my own, I doubt if I'll be able to remember this bucketload of info, functions, parameters and stuff.
Oh you don't say it's portable? I thought that Windows API was very portable, oh how wrong I was. Anyway, complexity of the WinAPI makes it more fun than this. Although it is not portable, I believe that it is much better than any other API.
Damn bucky pumping out videos like crazy. Keep 'em coming, bro!

You probably need to #include [QFile]. (Should actually be pointy brackets but can't write them here.)
Why not just use the Visual Studio form builder?
No vids in a week, bucky, you're taking the break that you should have taken a long time go. Hope you're at vacation at come nice and warm place! :)
Hey bucky what if I wanted to add a file tool bar on the gui is there a built in library that does that?
Hi Bucky, I have problem why sometime use *textline and use myFile without *
If I try to run it, i get this error: no 'void FindWord::on_goButton_clicked()' member function declared in class 'FindWord' ;(
You have declaration in header?
BRING IT ON!!!
QFile: Undeclared identifier??
There's a fine line between lecture and tutorial. This is - as the title implies - a tutorial, don't base your knowledge on this.
Ok i see....
well,good luck!
He's not taking a vacation lol
You mean sockets?
Oh,well,that looks interesting..
you failed, but you at laste made the AI program, right???
c++ basic level?
There is always DirectX at your disposal.

nope. i didn't continue with it, i'm going to do the subject maybe in a year or two.

+Mohammed Zaid That's why you have to practice. So how have you been doing the past month?
Just take your time, you wont get there if you dont try.

Well he should be. :)
I don't see how's that relevant to our discussion, since I was not making a comparison between the libs, but okay.
not basic man, i had to create an AI program.
:D
First
11th!
u tried tho
third
1st of all those are not C++ tutorials, are Qt tuts.
2nd, is not bucky's fault that you suck at c++
WINAPI is full of a bunch of remnants and other bullshit, besides it's not portable.
Win32 API is so much better than this fancy shit !
OpenGL is better.
