1.if it is open totally transparent and decentralized there is absolutely no privacy. Everyone can see what you paid and are paid for everything and nobody is accountable.
2. Limited to 21 million. What happens when reached that limit and no more for miners? Either generate more crypto (inflation), they add the amount of the miner's fee to every transaction (also inflation) or the system self distructs.

2. even if all bitcoin is held, there's still burning, which for bitcoin is optional and that causes deflation. so bitcoin will always be deflationary as long as someone is burning it. it will take a very long time before the supply is gone. but it will always be deflationary because it's really limited. the only reason i see bitcoin losing value is if everyone in the world decides it has no value

@@Nevermore093 Bitcoin is inherently deflationary. That's why it can be broken down into Satoshis (.00000001). Bitcoin doesn't have a burning mechanism built into it's protocol and doesn't need one because of its already inherent deflationary aspect.

Yes, you don't pay capital gains until you trigger a taxable event like selling them. But that depends on the country you live and you sell it. Let's say you want to sell 500 million dollars in bitcoin, i think in USA 23.8% is applied, so the goverment will take away from you 119 million dollars, which for me is totally inmoral.
But if you do that on Switzerland or other similars countries, you pay 0 taxes because they don't tax most assets.
Blockchain tecnology is kind of changing that, because you can trade stablecoins, ask for credit lines using you crypto assets as collateral, and much more paying 0 taxes even if you live in a socialist country, like mine. It can also solve election and legislature transparency problems, even some countries want to descentralize their money printing criteria using smart contracts and blockchain tecnology.

Granted, absolutely, centralized money systems with governments suck, but the fake (meaning - I do no believe that nobody out there has a back-door into creating wealth from each crypto version) scarcity of digital coins isn't the answer. It's relying on electrical and networking systems that can, and eventually will, be brought down on a massive scale.
Digital money is already the most used form of money in first world countries through the use of credit cards. You're using credit. We'll all be dead by the time electricity and networking is no longer usable.
I still can not wrap my head around an invisible currency. How can a bitcoin be worth 12 million US dollars by 2031?? If we are on a digital currency by then, then the US dollar will be worth nothing and most likely not be used. So how the hell can an invisible coin be worth a printed money that isn't in use anymore? I have tried for the last 10 years of my life to understand "digital currency" and it sill sounds like a bigger scam than the FED's money printer.
So pick your poison worthless fiat or worthless digital currency. The fact is you already use digital currency every time you swipe your card to make a purchase, the digital money gets withdrawn from the bank ledger to the store ledger. It’s really not that complicated to understand. Unless you live in Wyoming or Montana, I’m sure you can tell we’re going more digital not less digital. 🤷🏽♂️
I don't care if you bought bitcoin at $1,.. it has no intrinsic value, it earns no income, it earns no dividends, it's not backed by anything other than the greater fool. And it's useless as a currency because it's very volatile. Batguano-coin would make a better currency. It has value relative to bitcoin.
I don't care how much energy it takes to "mine", at some point it will crash to the value it deserves and they'll look back (it may take 20 years) and say,... mygawd we thought people buying pet rocks were stupid,... bit-coin is the epitome of stupid.

That's what's happening with fiat. Inflation. Maybe in 10-20 years a lot of families won't be able to afford a jug of milk. Whereas with bitcoin, it's always deflationary due to people being able to burn it. You can keep the jug of milk the same bitcoin cost forever because bitcoin doesn't lose value due to inflation.

@Rajyada maini that’s what I want to know, this is not my opinion, it’s something that Robert kiyoski was commenting in one of his videos I follow his page, him and the people he was interviewing where saying that the gap between rich and poor is gonna be so big that they will directly decide how much money a person should get and could get to the point where they decide where to spend your money, it kinda happens right now, I mean the jobs, taxes, products and everything we have and do is because of the great corporations, but with digital currency where they’ll be able to track how much money you have even what you spend your money on that situation is gonna get even worse… control to that extent is what Robert kiyosaki is talking about, and also some great investors are saying that small investors are also gonna get whipped out due to not having a company to back it up it’s all a lot of rumors but rumors end up being true

This accountant is horrible. Our Constitution has gold and silver as currency. That can't be taxed legally. If people are paying those gains to the IRS, they don't know the law and the IRS is illegally enforcing something they can't constitutionally.
