Inspired by a paper origami pocket I received in Happy Mail. I thought let’s make one in fabric, another pocket idea for our fabric journal, a nice and simple project.

@@janetnash Oh yes I saw him sitting there and I was so thrilled to see he had found a good home. He made himself comfortable pretty quickly! LOL I loved the ginko leaf paper. I hope he doesn't keep Flo, Jennifer and Primrose up all night with his hooting but I think they like to party a little while you are asleep anyhow!

OH JANET!!! I love your creativity and ideas pairing some of my favorite things...origami, fabric and slow-stitch. Your pieces and process are deLIGHTful!!! The traditional origami cup model is one of my favorites. I have folded some with fabric but you have inspired me to use slow-stitch on them....BRILLIANT! Such a whimsical fabric pocket, looks so nice with the stitching. I have enjoyed making a few thank-you Janet, I do have to keep referring to your directions , no matter how many times I try🤔💌🙃. Thought I may experiment with using both fabric and paper, say one square fabric and the other paper🤔🧵. They would look lovely done in book paper...mmmh.... always inspired when I visit your creative desk., thanks so much. What a lovely verdant green path through the woods.
