This game is the game of my dreams since childhood, and when I was younger I was obsessed with VR. Bringing these two together would be the most incredible thing I'd ever experience
Yes! And imagine them coming up with a way to incorporate scents of the different worlds that are activated as you explore 😍. Kinda like the technology used at Disney World in the Avatar Flight of Passage ride. That virtual ride was by far my favorite immersive experience ❤️
I introduced Sky to my older sister and we played everyday for months making countless friends. She passed away last July (almost 24yrs old) and it’s been really hard to play the game. When I go to the friend constellation I see her character and it’s just crazy difficult. Some of our friends that we met in sky wrote notes and made pictures for the funeral which made me tear up. I come to this soundtrack when I want to feel the feels. It’s like the greatest joy and deepest sadness all at once. To those out there feeling those same feels, you’re not alone and I love you so incredibly much! ❤️
Sky is seriously the friendliest and most innocent game I've ever played. It tears me up thinking about how friendship and teamwork is so important. The concept of sitting down and waiting for someone to approach you, recharging each other's wings, lighting up each other's candles, helping each other find spirits and wing lights, the message of sacrifice, and etc is just so beautiful...and omg we can hold hands, ride piggy backs, and fly together :'-) Edit: I just realized that "innocent" doesn't apply to the Golden Wasteland and Eden 😐
(SPOILERS) I have a friend in this game. I nicknamed them “Oyokoo” (yes, I have weird names) I remember me and Oyokoo met at the storm of the dark dragon. I didn’t know what I was doing, nor where to go. I remember it said “it’s best to go with a person or group” when I was entering the storm. I didn’t have anyone. Neither did Oyokoo. They approached me and we became friends. They’d always take my hand, to lead me through the storm. Oyokoo always took the lead. Sometimes I did, but I didn’t know what I was really doing so they just took over. I remember when me and Oyokoo both died in the storm. Well, they died first. I seen their spirit and I stopped trying to find shelter from the storm, I just sat there with there spirit. Not knowing what was going on. We both ended up in the black void. Me and Oyokoo were confused because we couldn’t see eachother. I did a call. Then I heard them do a call. We just sat there and called for a few minutes until I couldn’t hear Oyokoo anymore. That’s when I found the cutseen. Then after. They lit my candle. I never used a bench to talk to Oyokoo, I don’t even know if we’d speak the same language. I just wanted to say thanks to them. They’re the only reason I made it that far In the storm. And when a dark dragon hit me, they’d stop going forward and rush back to light my candle. And when Oyokoo got hit, I rushed back to light their candle. Thank you, Oyokoo. Thank you for staying with me through the storm.
So now I know I don't need a therapist..... People try finding a comfortable person in the therapist spending money like water..... When there's so much warmth on sky.....☺
this game made me cry. i am a very artistic person who loves fantasy and beautiful things and morals and uncovering meanings of things. this hit the spot.
@lumii I know right, the game has little stories here and there, but the environment and music feels like it has a story on it's own. It's a beautiful game to play
Imagine you’re dead. Imagine you’re the character and you need to get through the world and Eden is the last world where someone decides where you’re gonna go after your life and they decide by the decisions you made thorough the world…
Isle Of Dawn: A big desert Daylight Praire: A land of grass and clouds Hidden Forest: A rainforest that instantly kills you Valley Of Triumph: Where moths think it’s a desert when it’s actually a snowy place Golden Wasteland: Wasteland full of flying tempuras AKA Krillhaven Vault Of Knowledge: A literal library that takes a century to reach the top Eye Of Eden: Heaven in hell
@Mollsa I’m crap i do go to eden every monday, after i've completed eden i'll collect all isle stars and log off. Next day i'll collect from prarie ti'll valley and log off. Next day i do wasteland, vault and eden ti'll point of no return. I'll have all 10 flaps again on wednsday
@Mollsa I’m crap eye of eden is requird amd part of the game, you'll revirce ascended candles in orbit and free the other trapped kids. It's a sacrifice for the greater good and you'll ascend spirits and get more rewards to unlock
The Ending Breaks my Heart Especially When You See Your Character Are Getting Hit By Flaming Rocks And Losing All Wings And Power I Actually Cried In Moment
1:03:32 Is probably my favorite part. Every time I reach this music near the end of the Vault, I just stop for a few moments and listen. It's so calming, as if the game is trying to reassure you that you'll be ok before you're faced with Eden.
I first started playing Sky when my dog passed away. She passed away very far from me so I never got a chance to hold her one last time. I made a friend in the game and named her like my dog. She used to light my candle and take my hand and fly together. This is how I envision seeing her in heaven when we can be reunited again in the future and there is no more distance or pain between us.
This game.. the content, the visuals, the music, the focus on the necessity of human interaction.. makes it so beautiful. It's actually done wonders for my anxiety, and overall happiness. Just so grateful for it 🙏🏻
Mollsa I’m crap Totally, it’s very moving in that way. Believing in something positive with a chance of being wrong over believing in nothing isn’t silly ✌🏻🌸
I was surprised how this game is based on the help between. When I was on the last level (eye of eden), I made a friend who was truly better than me, Running and avoiding every stone. I remember a moment when I got a ball in my face and found myself sent off. I thought the guy was going to go on without me, but he waited for me all the way by giving me light signals. And when I finally caught up, he took my hand and guided me all the way. I was extremely touched by this attention, because he could clearly have left me, or not have the patience to drag a ball. In the end we lost, but it was a great help! (at least for me) Edit: sorry for my English, I'm French!
shoutout to the person i friended on sky, we ran around holding hands for like 5 minutes then followed each other around trying to solve a puzzle. absolutely made my day
Ok but can we talk about the part of the game where your being reborn and your flying with animals and everything and everyone? That was the most BEAUTIFUL THING IVE EVER SEEN 1:10:10 (shoutout to AURORA she sings 1:10:10 and she sounds amazing)
I remember when I I was in eden, i met someone, let’s basically call them Hannah. So while I was giving away my winged lights, it was only me and Hannah around, so she decided to follow me around for a bit and decided to become my friend, after a while of helping each other, I decided to add her to my friends list but apparently during that moment I barely had any candles. So when we almost reached the end I was the first one to die, after it blah blah blah cutscenes I was so inpatient, after reaching out for every spirit for treasure candles I finally got enough for 1 candle, so when I landed in “heaven” I patiently waited for her to come back, beeping every 1 minutes for 20 minutes then I accepted the fact that I’ll never meet her ever again, tho when I was about to leave I heard a beep from a distance, I turned around and beeped as well to make sure who it was. When I quickly flew to them it was apparently Hannah, the fIRSt thing I did was add her,we were so excited to see each other and spammed emotes and beeping lol then we held hands and boom We play with each other almost everydayc:
omg that is so beautiful, I have the same experience with someone but I didn't have candles and I think she also hadn't, unfortunately I never see her again.
And it hurts like Hell. I remember coming back everyday to see if one of my friends was online, and one day, they never came back on. It’s so heartbreaking, because I’ll never know what happened to them. Whether they just lost interest, or something horrible happened.
I’m socially awkward but thanks to this amazing game, I’ve made a friend with someone and talk usually and I love this game so much. It’s just so beautiful.
Moths: Wow! This game has sick graphics and music! And these emotes are so wholesome! And the plot too! We’re saving the Elders! Veterans: *lies on whatever chilling spot in the game What more can you ask for? What is life?
i love the music when i died and coming back to life and when i play coming back to life it looked like i was in heaven i kinda cried at the build up of the music then cried some more when i had start all over
My grandpa died on 22nd April this year, I was not there when he passed away and couldn’t even see him for the last time or kiss him goodbye. He was really sick and didn’t have any last words and he died right in-front of my mom. That day when my dad told me “stay calm Kriti, your nana has expired” I was in absolute shock and didn’t say anything. Later the day, helpless, I started playing sky and I was in vault of knowledge. As my character ascended to next floor after next floor and each one with beautiful music it felt as if just like that my nana must be on his way to heaven. I got reminded of how great he was, a great father, a great husband, a great brother, a great grandfather and a great company. Till this day whenever I play in the vault of knowledge and this music plays 1:03:32 I feel as though wherever he is right now he must be really happy and healthier than before. Thank you team sky you really helped me cope with my loss and now I feel at ease whenever I play sky.
The reason sky has no chat unless unlocked is to show you dont need words to be kind. To be loving. All of the great qualities in you are so great you don't need words to express them. Simply by looking at a person we can become greater people and see greater people.
I just started playing Sky earlier. And let me tell you, IT BLEW ME AWAY! I was not expecting it to be like that! It was so beautiful and calming, I'm used to playing action-packed games like PUBG, COD, etc. This just warms my heart and calms my soul. I'm so glad I downloaded this game, It's so worth it, it's worth my time and energy. It's just unbelievably beautiful. I doubt there's games like this out there. Truly unique. Salute to the ones who made this game.
When I see these people in comments how they talk about a game that made us this world Who help each other and stretch our hands together and come here at the same time remember everything and all the charity in this game It gives me a feeling I don't know honestly what it is but I think it's peace and I like that feeling Sorry for the spelling I am Arabic 💖
Hidden Forest 18:34 really took my heart😫💕 I freaking love the music, the sound of flute, raindrops, birds chirping, the piano , I would just sit in Hidden Forest for hours just to listen to this🥺🌸
Raymond Alfred Lopez Ikr Before I struggled to sleep, I normally slept around 12 or pulled an all nighter for like a week straight, but I was shocked when I was able to fall asleep around 10pm Like this is m a g I c
Village spirits and forest temple jellyfish makes me cry because the melody is so pure and sweet it makes me feel loved, pure, free, and it feels like i'm in heaven. And those little footsteps of the avatars in the sand is just adorable

My last flight was around 7-8 months ago. Haven't played sky much after that. I just login once in a while to play piano in the home area or in some random cave and call it a day. No more candle farming or Eden runs
I feel like sky is the most calming game I have ever played, no violence, blood, arguments, it shows how much close people mean to you and the soundtrack calms me instantly. It's about a child that soars through the air living near stars and clouds, awaking lost spirits.
Sky calms me down each time i play it, everyone I’ve interacted with, the places I’ve visited, the sound and musics, it’s really refreshing to play it when you’re stressed!💖
The musicians who helped put this masterpiece together really went all out. Makes playing the game so much better. It gives the actions, the scenes, and the characters so much character! I absolutely love this game and am looking forward to a sequel if they do make one. Anybody got any recommendations on roleplay games that are like this? Thanks!
Journey is a LOT like this. It was made by the same company and is a huge predecessor to Sky; CoL in a lot of ways. There’s no dialog, you make a journey with a companion, and has wonderful visuals. The company who made the game also has a few other games that are of the calming meditation sort, like flower (you play as the wind and are collecting flower petal colors to rejuvenate the world) and I think it’s called Flow? (You play as like a tiny cellular organism and go around getting bigger. I haven’t played that one yet, but I’ve watched my brother play, and it seems interesting and oddly relaxing) Back to roleplay games, if you’re interested at all in the table top variant of RPGs, then really (if you have a good group or a good DM... Or heck, if you want to do it yourself!) almost any general system can be used to give the same atmosphere. I’d personally recommend Savage Worlds for that (the irony, haha) it’s a fun system and it has a lot of things you can do with it, as it was created with the idea of suiting any sort of genre you throw at it. As for RPG (ish) VIDEO games that aren’t Sky and Journey.... I think the only games that can come vaguely close are Minecraft, Animal Crossing, maybe Dragon Quest: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (can be multiplayer, but I think local only) and maaaaybe Stardew Valley For a game that I feel kinda vibes with Sky but isn’t really an RPG would have to be Celeste. It’s about a girl (not named Celeste) traveling up a mountain (actually named Celeste) to prove to herself she can. It deals with things like self acceptance and working through anxiety, and it’s super fun. I can’t quite explain why both games exist in a similar place to me because on paper they sound so different, but they do. And if *Celeste* sounds interesting, I would 1000% recommend Soul Void. It’s free, just look it up on google. (It’s not on the App Store) It’s a super short and simple game, but it has a lot of heart. I think it’s technically an RPG, but it’s a gameboy styled game, so it’s not exactly multiplayer. But I would still 1000% recommend it. I’ll try to think of more and/or ask my brother too for more recommendations if those don’t do it for you. In all honestly, there’s few games that can hold a candle (pun semi intended) to Sky, which is of corse what makes it so special. And the ones that do are usually also interesting and unique in their own little ways. I know this is a horrendously long comment, but I hope I somehow helped and didn’t manage to just make things more confusing, haha
If you have Switch check out "Fe" (just Fe, it's not short for anything). It has extremely calming vibes and a similar aesthetic to Sky and Journey. Never really understood why it didn't catch on ... it's not as polished as Journey/Sky but it's still an enjoyable experience *especially* if you're looking for that pretty, ambient vibe specifically.
I really miss playing this game. Ever since I got busy with work and school I haven't had the time to go back. This was my escape from reality, especially during the earlier months of the pandemic. When I do find the time, I'll go back and play.
I have never played this game thanks to never having a device with Android 11 or something compatible but the music makes me cry. Makes me think of when the world was ok. I miss those times. The happy friends, actually being ok, not worrying about anything, not having to feel like I'll never see anyone who helped me through my struggling times of death within my family and mental deterioration. But its a new year, time to turn a new leaf. We're getting there. One step at a time, and for the first time in years, I actually have the confidence to say "I'm ok. I'm getting there. I can do this." Thank you for making the most beautiful soundtrack I've ever discovered Thatgamecompany.
Throw back to 11 months ago. I got Sky back in June and I was able to shed happy moth tears that month. Now its 5th of December and I'm an Ikejou. How time flies
When I started the game. I didn't know what the heck I was doing. After going through the Eye of Eden, then respawning back at home, I returned to the portals and started wondering around finding missing spirits. There I found like.. Five to six well experienced players friending me, taking my hand, and going through places I haven't explored. Just honking, using clapping emotes, then resting by benches, or if they had instruments I'd sit for hours listening to them play then clapping for them when they finish. I felt overwhelming happiness and heavy comfort. But My favorite has to be the Village of Dreams, because at the "Debut" the cut seen was so beautiful! Then suddenly the music changes and it was my turn I was so shocked and I smiled so wide while performing. All the clapping and cheering after each performance made me start crying. After the final pose with the ice skater and the cut scene died down I took a moment to finish crying because that had to be the most encouraging praise I got in so long. I felt so accomplished and loved even if it was just through a game. So now everytime I go through that portal with the Twins, I never miss the village of dreams, I go through the map just to get to the cut scene and play it. This game helped me cope. And I'm so thankful for the creators who made this..
GOD- YES! It's beautiful like this game just sitting and listening to a stranger play an instrument, it becomes the most beautiful thing in life, a few days ago I was walking through the golden wasteland and I found a person playing next to the area where you can change , I stayed listening and after a few minutes, there was a campfire to sit on, some marshmallows, this person's guitar and more people to listen to it.
This world. The beauty, the sounds, it feels so peaceful even when I’m not in it. I never thought I would feel that way. When I go back to play it, it makes me cry. If only it continued...
Things Sky Helped Me Cope With; 1. Bad friendships. 2. Loneliness. 3. The death of my dog. Ever since I started playing this game, the solution to most of my problems has become 'open Sky and find a peaceful place to sit for a while'. Truly the best and most underrated game of this time
It kind of moves me when I could interact with players speaking other languages... The moment I communicated by Emoji with someone who doesn’t speak English was really heartwarming🥺♡
I just finished Sky, and I never thought I would cry so much over the thought of what heaven could look like. I also want to thank a fellow moth friend (who I feel I should refrain from saying their name-) for helping me with the Eye of the Storm and sticking with me even after that. I was honestly really scared as to what was going to happen, but they kept on encouraging me to push forward and to not be afraid. I… really don’t think I coulda done it my first time without them. If you’re reading this somehow, (and you know who you are!) you’re a real one. Thanks for making my first experience with this game an amazing one.
it's been a year since I last played sky due to my busy schedule these soundtracks bring back unforgettable memories of mine being a newbie exploring every realms and playing with my friends thank you!
YAAAAAAAAASSSSS THERE BETTER BE!!! Literally my most favorite game of all time. I'm looking forward to it if they do. Haven't found another game like this one yet. So I'm hoping they release another one soon :)
1:03:32 This soundtrack hit me, HARD, it's like so calming and emotional at the same time because it's technically the end, even tho there's still eden, you know after the dawn, the prairie, the forest, the valley, and the wasteland, the ending is just so calming and emotional and while you're listening to it you remember your journey.
I am writing a story for Webtoon, and this playlist makes my imagination explode. This is the best thing that could ever happen to me. Thank you very much!! 🥰 - A child of light
I took such a peaceful nap today in sky. We were at the end of the race area in the valley. Someone was playing piano in the middle with other people around them. I joined everyone and listened. It was such a lovely moment. When they finished a song, we would all clap and pop our poppers c: so I sat on my couch with my knees up and cozied up with my blanket, and my sweet, purring cat. I just listened and drifted off. Best nap ever. ✨
I used to play this game with a friend, we’d have so much fun playing and sometimes we’d just sit somewhere and gaze out at the view.. My friend is gone now, not dead or anything, just.. Gone. I often listen to Sky’s soundtrack just to remember all the good times we had chatting with each other and relaxing on an island in the sky gazing out at the view, I’ve been wondering.. We’re all those amazing memories I made with them… For nothing? I don’t know, I still play this beautiful game, even if my friend is no longer here. Memento Mori I guess.
1:03:30 "This is Berk. It's twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It's located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village. In a word, sturdy. It's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new. We've got hunting, fishing, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests. Most places have mice or mosquitoes. We have... dragons." I get HTTYD vibes whenever I go there
oh my... this is beautiful! I love the fact that you put some sound effects like the wings recovering and the sound of the waves etc reminds me back when playing sky 🥰🥰 I dont play sky anymore but I always miss the music and being with my skyfriends and this brings back memories thank you ❤️
I got sky on a whim in the summer of 2020. I was nervous it was going to be some pay-to-win shovelware game like the rest of the app store, as well as it likely blowing up my phone (because it is a rock). What I got was one of the greatest experiences of my life. That summer was a really hard time in my life, and to meet so many kind and wonderful people, to mess around and try to put crabs in the shape of little pictures, and to feel connection in a time when I had lost a lot was incredible. I stopped playing somewhere around August, but I still tear up hearing this soundtrack. Sky will always hold a special place in my heart.
No arguments, this is the most magnificent and breathtaking game I have ever played. I have done a full play through of the whole story and yet something about it urges me to play more and more. I am fond of poetry because of its beautiful ways of telling jaw-dropping and emotional stories, but this game can do so with so few words. The graphics and music in this game is art, and it makes me feel welcome and less alone. Throughout the Eye of Eden chapter, I ended up crying because of the painful journey these children had to face without knowing it completely, then heading on into a new life with the same memories and body but a whole new feel. The way this story was intertwined with life itself and then topped with a perfect amount of fantasy fascinates me. This game has brought peace and liberated my caged imagination. Thank you, Sky.
Everytime i have panic attacks, i always remember the game sky and thought of coming to listen to the sound tracks since they're calming I've just calm down while listening to this
just relaunched it a couple minutes ago and chilled on the home island, just the vibe alone is something else, I wish my phone wouldn't burn up every time I tried playing it
i failed that exam however i listened to this for another one and passed with a five! i made this comment when i was a highschool freshman :) now i am in college...crazy how time flies. I should go back and play sky again
If you guys have any soundtracks you'd like to hear next and can't already find a video of it, let me know :)

how is the game free tbh, the visuals, the soundtrack, the people, it's all just too beautiful.
ikr, it seems like it would at least cost like 99 cents but nope. totally free, but I'm not complaining!
the game has a lot of microtransactions , i think that's what they went with for revenue.
*everything else cost alot*

Yep, Sky is literally my dream game which is why I’m forever thankful to TGC
i want this soundtrack to be the last thing i hear before i die
the singer and voice of the game is AURORA. She's a singer.
basically you'll hear this before going to eden aka die amirite lol
Rahel Koni very true lol
Imagine you’re dead. Imagine you’re the character and you need to get through the world and Eden is the last world where someone decides where you’re gonna go after your life and they decide by the decisions you made thorough the world…

Sky is a game that we don't deserve

Isle Of Dawn: A big desert
Daylight Praire: A land of grass and clouds
Hidden Forest: A rainforest that instantly kills you
Valley Of Triumph: Where moths think it’s a desert when it’s actually a snowy place
Golden Wasteland: Wasteland full of flying tempuras AKA Krillhaven
Vault Of Knowledge: A literal library that takes a century to reach the top
Eye Of Eden: Heaven in hell

1:03:32 Is probably my favorite part. Every time I reach this music near the end of the Vault, I just stop for a few moments and listen. It's so calming, as if the game is trying to reassure you that you'll be ok before you're faced with Eden.
Agreed, I always stop and listen just before Eden, then its death time xD
why did this make me tear up🥺
Oh man I love u
Yea, same for me 😍
I first started playing Sky when my dog passed away. She passed away very far from me so I never got a chance to hold her one last time. I made a friend in the game and named her like my dog. She used to light my candle and take my hand and fly together. This is how I envision seeing her in heaven when we can be reunited again in the future and there is no more distance or pain between us.
this is really making my eyes to give out gallons of tears

Oh, the best game that i player ever♥️, i love this game♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I was surprised how this game is based on the help between. When I was on the last level (eye of eden), I made a friend who was truly better than me, Running and avoiding every stone. I remember a moment when I got a ball in my face and found myself sent off. I thought the guy was going to go on without me, but he waited for me all the way by giving me light signals. And when I finally caught up, he took my hand and guided me all the way.
I was extremely touched by this attention, because he could clearly have left me, or not have the patience to drag a ball. In the end we lost, but it was a great help! (at least for me)

shoutout to the person i friended on sky, we ran around holding hands for like 5 minutes then followed each other around trying to solve a puzzle. absolutely made my day
@Ayden Casteel-Bach one day it will be you
Ok but can we talk about the part of the game where your being reborn and your flying with animals and everything and everyone? That was the most BEAUTIFUL THING IVE EVER SEEN 1:10:10 (shoutout to AURORA she sings 1:10:10 and she sounds amazing)
Oh my god I love AURORA and didn’t even recognize it was her do to me not being able to hear that scene at the time. I am absolutely stunned.
When I quickly flew to them it was apparently Hannah, the fIRSt thing I did was add her,we were so excited to see each other and spammed emotes and beeping lol then we held hands and boom
We play with each other almost everydayc:
omg that is so beautiful, I have the same experience with someone but I didn't have candles and I think she also hadn't, unfortunately I never see her again.
The only bad thing about this game is that when you make a friend, there's a high chance that you won't be able to see them again
And it hurts like Hell. I remember coming back everyday to see if one of my friends was online, and one day, they never came back on. It’s so heartbreaking, because I’ll never know what happened to them. Whether they just lost interest, or something horrible happened.
Don't forget its repetitive gameplay.

I didn't know you die in this game 🙄🤔
Yeah and when u see all ur friends again 🥺
"....you have been reborn..."
I haven’t played that one yet, but I’ve watched my brother play, and it seems interesting and oddly relaxing)
Back to roleplay games, if you’re interested at all in the table top variant of
RPGs, then really (if you have a good group or a good DM...
I think the only games that can come vaguely close are Minecraft, Animal Crossing, maybe Dragon Quest: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (can be multiplayer, but I think local only) and maaaaybe Stardew Valley
For a game that I feel kinda vibes with Sky but isn’t really an RPG would have to be Celeste.

I can do this."
Thank you for making the most beautiful soundtrack I've ever discovered Thatgamecompany.
