HEY Y’ALL! Merina is my name and Mobile Home Livin’ is my thang! Around here I’m known for mobile home makeovers and large family mobile home livin’! I used to do mobile home livin’ in a trailer park in Tennessee. We’ve set out on a new journey and bought our dream home - a double wide mobile home on some acreage in the hills of Tennessee! I just felt impressed to ask for prayer for my fur baby Tiger . He is going through a clinical trial and not eating very much. I've asked God to please show me . This clinical trial has had good results, but it's been really hard, especially the first 14 days, and we are 30 days in on 85 .Please just pray for us . I live in a neighborhood of people who don't take care of their animals, so we have tried really hard to do everything we can . Tiger came to us last fall with multiple problems. He is so sweet and worthy of health and happiness.

Hey sweet friend. You don't know how much of a blessing you and your family, including RUclips family, are. It's been a rough week here I had to say goodbye to my furbaby on Tuesday, then Wednesday I saw the neurologist about the tumor on my left temporal lobe and he wants to do more testing, and then last night I was admitted to the hospital. I have a UTI and a possibility of a partial blockage.

Just a heads up, Lovely Lady, if you’re ever in a pinch, you can make your manwich sauce with 3 ingredients- ketchup, mustard, & brown sugar.
1/2 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp brown sugar per pound of ground beef. Love you so much! The farther I get into reading the Bible, the more I gravitate towards your content when I just want something to watch. You’re a blessing to so many 🙏😘

Just to pass along some information in case you don’t know. Not sure if you’re planning on a new stove, but if you are… get one that has the convection option. That’s basically a big air fryer!!
You should make, cabbage, green beans, broccoli, beans and any kind of Leafty veggies.

If you’re able consider putting in the new counters a couple of inches higher than standard height inches. We did that and it’s been a lifesaver on my back. Also, I think a built in cot type seat would look pretty under the living room window. Long enough to lay on. Shane could even build it for storage underneath.

Wow! Awesome plans for the den! Here’s my take: do the built ins on the big wall- put lower closed cabinets on the bottoms, maybe on each end glass door cabinets for pretty stuff and then in the center bookshelves, then either the huge chairs OR 4 oversized swivel upholstered chairs around a round coffee table to be able to play games or put feet up; then on the door wall, do a console table (will kind of detract from the vent) with a pretty lamp at one end, faux plants and maybe a book stand to keep an open family Bible on, a mirror or pictures on the wall above, a basket or chest under the console table for pretty lap blankets to use, nothing too fancy because your bookcases and seating area will be your focal point

The Great Alone is such a good read. Any book by Nicholas Sparks is also a wonderful read. I read many hours per day. All my children are grown, the house stays clean, my husband does all outside chores, so there isn’t much to do. Enjoy!

Four Winds was so good, in school, I was never big into history, my kids loved it thankfully, but now that my kids are grown, I have learned so much from just the books I read, I love Historical Fiction novels. I love your channel because you are real!!!
I think you should do a big fluffy sectional. That’s always a good idea. There are 6 people in your house, you need more seating than for 2 people in your front room.

I love love love Kristin Hannah. I have finished several of her books in tears, but she really brings the story to life.
You make me feel so normal! 😂 I record Hallmark movies and it takes me days to finish one…IF I even manage to. Also, one thing you might start doing…I always kept a list of new words stuck in the back of my book. I would add to it as I read or heard a new word. Later, I would write down the definitions and try to use at least one each week. It was a fun challenge and really helped expand my vocabulary!

Build a pantry that is big. Put your freezer in it
My son did his own countertop.. 12 ft long is stamped cement with waterfall edges! It is gorgeous!! He did it all by himself!!
If you make i your island 4x8, you can use plywood top and put 4x8 countertop material on it with glue. Make the sides the right size and you can use countertop trim in same material/ pattern. We did my mil's this way. She loved it. We put cabinets underneath and built the top ourselves. ♥️
Tip when looking for counter tops, ask if they have any discounted slabs that might have some minor damage. Usually it's only around the edges that you might not even need for your island. Though it might be harder to find a discounted slab that long. Also suggest two love seats facing each other on either side of your built in bookshelf! Good luck with the renos :)
I would have been your friend when you were sitting all alone eating in the caf. I always searched out the kids that needed a friend! One suggestion in your den room. Use dark colors!! Lots of light in there and the darker colors will make it feel cozy!
I think the plans for the extra room are great. Massive chairs would look good, but maybe a couple love seats? Those windows and your view are awesome, so maybe avoid blocking them with furniture?

2 large living rooms, one use as a everyday family room, the other one use as a good room. For guests, or bible study or family events. Try a restore, many times new items at great prices for furniture, it is great prices. Also read !nything by Rick Bragg. NY Times former reporter. Born dirt poor raised by his mom. For the den room. Look at "chair in a half's". They are huge chairs. Lots of different styles available. We have one and it's super comfy.

We did an island like that. ( not quite as big as yours) Used 2 double cabinets from Home Depot. Put a counter top with an over hang. We can sit 4 bar stools. I do use it for a lot. Making Christmas cookies. Setting the food on for pot lucks etc. I love it. We also don’t have an out let in it. Wish I did. But again, I love it
Tip for your airfryer…..you can put down foil in your fry basket and you won’t have any clean up after, it preserves the lifespan of the airfryer prevents build up of burnt on food and grease……you can also buy paper liners specifically for the air fryer but I prefer the foil

You could still do an L shaped couch and have it be a divider from the front door so basically a little hallway with the couch being across the entry way table & door.
