Great video! Thanks for all the tips. I have lusted after an Accuphase for some time now but the price is insane! Nothing can be that good. Even an approximation is welcome at this stage. Will definitely consider this. I have other Chinese-built audio components and I'll put them up against ANY domestic products at several times the price.

the problem is to buy on Taobao. This website is for chinese people whose retail stuff on ebay and other websites. Normally they refuse to sell stuff to foreign people.
For the money you get a real value at Weiliang! You are constantly comparing data and photos, what if you bought a Weilinag and then took an honest test? I myself have been selling high-end products in a shop for almost 20 years, including Accuphase. Now I also have equipment from Jungson (China) at home and it's amazing what is being built there for the money. I am a collector of hi-fi devices and therefore know that the device should be compared to the cost.

vintage stereo you don’t test anything. You just talk about somebody who said.... something.... and a lot of typical Western European arrogance that things from China must be bad. I repeat. Without actually being able to hear the device you should not make any judgment at all. I am German and live in Spain. And I grown tired of the arrogance from so called first industrial countries. I own audio physics Avanti speakers and I paired them to high end amplifier as well as not so known brands and I can tell you, you might get surprised very often. I had Krell Accuphase and a old McIntosh amplifier and yes, they sound great but also do not justify the price. I am very active in lots of groups about done building and programming and I would never give my opinion about something I did not try.
For this money, I rather get a very real top of the line 70s Marantz receiver. A fake will always be a fake, no matter how good you fake it. You don't collect fakes, you don't admire them, they are just there to pretend.
For the money you could not buy a vintage receiver like the Marantz or Sansui, you are looking at $5,000us + unless you are reffering to their budget line. Also note that most Int manufactures inc high end are now made in China.
@@cruise2023 5 years ago you could! The vinyl revival has made prices of vintage gear go sky rocketing Still, 1250 USD will get you a late 70s UPER MID segment receiver or Amp, not a budget! Budget 70s like a Marantz 2238 will start from 250 USD. A Pioneer SX 450 will start from 150 USD. I still take those 2 over a fake.
I just think the title is misleading. Using versus in a you tube video suggests a comparison of sorts. All you are showing is that someone in China makes replica hi-end amps.
If i want to machine front plate like this in my country i will pay 500-600 usd for precision like that...without elements...only front plate! cnc machining, sanding or glassing, engrawing and hard to match color like this!!! China have cheap cnc and laser machines and cheap components and viola....great amp for 1250 usd is here.....I really doubt that original worth 12 000 and we know that.....
btw.....amp look inside really serious and quality...boards and components looks top.....we really dont know if original Accu made some components in china and why not....for amp like this you must have big industrial machines...quality aluminium, wather jet cutters, cnc or 3d cnc machines, finishing, colouring eluxing in baths.....one front plate is work for several days and china is ideal for Accuphase and others for job like that.....
why exist fantastic amp for 1200 usd? China produces 80% of everything for everyone and if someone think that Accu or Krell dont have chinese components in original form that person live in illusion...

true but that should not stop us from talking about it. It's there, I discovered it just recent and I am curious. until now I didn't saw one thing I would really want to have.
