I had the opportunity to see this wonderful woman when I was in my early 20’s. She was in Portland Ore. at a big coliseum and the place was packed. There were catholic nuns down in the front row and they all became filled in the Holy Spirit that night. There were crippled and the blind there that night and miracles took place all over the place. Even a blind woman was given sight. She had been blind since she was a child. She walked out of there without any help. I saw all sorts of miracles. Including some for myself. Amen! This lady really loved God and was so blessed.

WHEN I was five years old this woman came floating across our new tv screen, I thought she looks like an angel in the white flowing dress, it drew me to her every week just to see her floating out there, I thought the way she talked was strange but I ALWAYS REMEMBERED THE WORDS "I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES" and I use to say those words all the time just cause I liked the way she said them not because I really knew what they meant I was only five and you didn't hear about Jesus and God much in north Dakota in those days, early fifties..little did I know YOU TUBE would be invented and I would be looking for some good teachings and LOW AND BEHOLD WHO POPS UP KATHYRN!!! It is wonderful how God takes us from glory to glory in our walk with Him. I have learned to never judge the messenger by their outward appearance. I know that if God can use a donkey to speak to a wayward prophet, He can use anyone who chooses to obey. He is not after perfect people but people who are willing to obey, willing to be used. The thing is brothers and sisters, Jesus said in John 10 that His sheep knows HIs voice. If you can't rise above the outward appearance and hear Jesus' voice in her preaching and see the work of God...the fault is not with the preacher/messenger.
Amen! Her love of God and the Holy Spirit are truly evident in her life. I was baptized by water immersion and later I received the baptism of the Holy Sprit and was filled and born again. It’s a different baptism where you know something physical took place in you. It’s real and it’s powerful. The anointing fell on me so hard that I was shaking under the anointing and initially I had no idea what was happening to me. The heavens opened up at night and God started doing wonderful things through the Holy Spirit. He is the Holy Spirit and is real. I thank God for allowing me to experience the Holy Spirit. Like David I too never want to have the Holy Spirit leave me. Only until you experience this yourself you will never know what a powerful gift it is to have the Holy Spirit in your life. Truly believe me we are today void of many of the gifts due to the church’s turning away from God’s whole truth and gifts for today. What are the obnoxious things they do? You see, From when I was a little kid I attended a very conservative church where ladies don't wear any sorta jewelry (ear rings, hand rings, etx), don't wear wigs or perm their hair, and they don't even wear trousers. Dame for men. Also we are not allowed to speak in tongues from the pulpit. In fact, the Holy Ghost is preached about few times in a year. However, I am appalled at the sort of judgemental tone some of you use against fellow believers these days. When the Discples were filled they appeared drunk to on lookers. Jeremiah had his tongue cleave to the roof of his mouth, Jesus said "I am he" and his eventual captors fell down not once. So these demonstrarions are there. Sure, some people take it overboard (I think can happen when the service isnt controlled), but I feel we can be a bit more circumspect in our criticisms.
Jesus says there shall arise falls prophets that shall rise and decieve many.if it was possible they would decieve the very elect of God. we must beware of them. please read the bible for yourself and let the spirit of god teach u all things... these people only love signs and wonders but their hearts are far from god
You see please do not get angry by whatever I say. The word of God is used for correction which is what I am trying to do for you(2Tim 3:16). It is good to read your bible and pray every day and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the secrets of the bible to you but God has given some saints an apostle, some a prophet some a pastor and teacher and some evangelists so that we the saints can be made perfect through their doctrine (Eph 4:11-12) because there is only so much we can get depending on our closeness to the Holy Spirit because He is the one who reveals things to us. I would also advise you to never speak against an anointed man/woman of God especially when you think you are right because God clearly said not to touch His anointed nor do His prophets any harm. TWICE (Psalm 105:15, 1Chr 16:22).
the core of the Christian work is proof, it may not be the miraculous but whether or not her heart is far from God is not your concern but Gods, Paul said in 1 coth 14:1, desire spiritual gifts he didn't say criticize those who have it, receive Godly wisdom.
I think she sounded particularly gruff in this audio because it was towards the end of her life, and she was suffering from congestive heart disease due to an enlarged heart. But the message is profound and timeless.

this is false doctrine. every truly converted christian receices the baptism of the holy spirit.. john says i baptize with water but Jesus babtizes with the holy spirit.. the baptism of the holy spirit simply means that every beleiver is filled with the spirit of God. The spirit of god lives in every believer and his duty is to change our hearts and make us more like jesus. no unbeliever has the holy spirit that is why they cannot live according to Gods will but the holy spirit is the gift that god gives every born again saints to lead them in the way of the lord daily.
kadian dear, there is the spirit upon and the spirit within the spirit within comes with being born again which is like drinking and carrying the water in your belly. the spirit upon on the other hand which she referred to as the baptism of the holy spirit is simply like jumping into a pool and having the water carry you, its birthed in the place of totally submitted will to the holy spirit in sacrifice.
We receive the Holy Spirit @ salvation but there is a secondary and subsequent experience available to the Christian referred to in Acts Chapter 8 that is the "baptism in the Holy Spirit". Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given according to the will of the Spirit; the purpose is power for service. For service. Receiving the Spirit @ salvation had to do with the inner working of the Holy Spirit in the individual toward personal holiness...and one needs to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit in this regard. However, when one receives The Baptism, the Spirit overflows from that one to others. In other words, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit has to do with outward ministry.

@@florencedegen2777 Yes but much reproach has been brought upon His name. It's even worse today. The manifestations of the flesh i.e. "fanataticism" is something Kathryn warned against.
What are the obnoxious things they do? You see, From when I was a little kid I attended a very conservative church where ladies don't wear any sorta jewelry (ear rings, hand rings, etx), don't wear wigs or perm their hair, and they don't even wear trousers. Dame for men. Also we are not allowed to speak in tongues from the pulpit. In fact, the Holy Ghost is preached about few times in a year. However, I am appalled at the sort of judgemental tone some of you use against fellow believers these days.
When the Discples were filled they appeared drunk to on lookers. Jeremiah had his tongue cleave to the roof of his mouth, Jesus said "I am he" and his eventual captors fell down not once. So these demonstrarions are there. Sure, some people take it overboard (I think can happen when the service isnt controlled), but I feel we can be a bit more circumspect in our criticisms.
Jesus says there shall arise falls prophets that shall rise and decieve many.if it was possible they would decieve the very elect of God. we must beware of them. please read the bible for yourself and let the spirit of god teach u all things... these people only love signs and wonders but their hearts are far from god
You see please do not get angry by whatever I say. The word of God is used for correction which is what I am trying to do for you(2Tim 3:16). It is good to read your bible and pray every day and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the secrets of the bible to you but God has given some saints an apostle, some a prophet some a pastor and teacher and some evangelists so that we the saints can be made perfect through their doctrine (Eph 4:11-12) because there is only so much we can get depending on our closeness to the Holy Spirit because He is the one who reveals things to us.
I would also advise you to never speak against an anointed man/woman of God especially when you think you are right because God clearly said not to touch His anointed nor do His prophets any harm. TWICE (Psalm 105:15, 1Chr 16:22).
the core of the Christian work is proof, it may not be the miraculous but whether or not her heart is far from God is not your concern but Gods, Paul said in 1 coth 14:1, desire spiritual gifts he didn't say criticize those who have it, receive Godly wisdom.

I think she sounded particularly gruff in this audio because it was towards the end of her life, and she was suffering from congestive heart disease due to an enlarged heart. But the message is profound and timeless.
Not a single word about escatology from the holy book the bible - not a single word about the prophecies from the bible about the future for us as christians. The only thing she focus on is sign and wonders, and the holy ghost.......................what is she..............who was she? and how did she handle marriage, money and legal matters............do you know? have you tested her? or do you just believe any person who sounds holy?
Read about what she left (and didn't leave) in her will. You may view her differently. (And don't defend her---I don't want to hear it).

this is false doctrine. every truly converted christian receices the baptism of the holy spirit.. john says i baptize with water but Jesus babtizes with the holy spirit.. the baptism of the holy spirit simply means that every beleiver is filled with the spirit of God. The spirit of god lives in every believer and his duty is to change our hearts and make us more like jesus. no unbeliever has the holy spirit that is why they cannot live according to Gods will but the holy spirit is the gift that god gives every born again saints to lead them in the way of the lord daily.

kadian dear, there is the spirit upon and the spirit within the spirit within comes with being born again which is like drinking and carrying the water in your belly. the spirit upon on the other hand which she referred to as the baptism of the holy spirit is simply like jumping into a pool and having the water carry you, its birthed in the place of totally submitted will to the holy spirit in sacrifice.

We receive the Holy Spirit @ salvation but there is a secondary and subsequent experience available to the Christian referred to in Acts Chapter 8 that is the "baptism in the Holy Spirit". Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given according to the will of the Spirit; the purpose is power for service. For service. Receiving the Spirit @ salvation had to do with the inner working of the Holy Spirit in the individual toward personal holiness...and one needs to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit in this regard. However, when one receives The Baptism, the Spirit overflows from that one to others. In other words, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit has to do with outward ministry.
Come out from that religious bondage.
