Au house in qld has done this aswell. the over fender idea was great that they did too, might be an option for this also give it some thickness in the rear
I recon torana lone o'ranger orange with some sort of highlighter yellow 5 spoke wheels with fat offset. I would say 57dr's but i don't know if they makes those sorta offsets

Should have put the RB into this rig and put a Barra into the ute. As for the colour, you can pick any colour you want as long as its purple! Keep the au tail lights.
I'm thinking of buying a xr6 au doing a barra swap / installing the fairlane front end and custom making a xr6 ba/bf rear bar to fit ..for the interior im thinking fg seats with swade headlining
