Nice stash adds! I'm building the Dodge A990 SS kit and so far it's literally falling together! I bought 2 of them as they are flying off the shelves here. Also got the Strickler car. I love the old altered wheelbase cars!
Kit does look cool and I need to really look it over. First thing I looked at was if windshield frame was damaged as that happens a lot with convertible kits. Then check glass. After that I noticed the instructions then put it back in box. I had a plumbing issue 3 years ago and had about 20 kits get wet. That sucked but prompted me to build two of them fast!
Cool haul! I'm eagerly awaiting my copies of the AWB Dodge and the '64 Chevelle from AMT, as well as the re-released Tamiya Alfa Romeo 1300 GTA. I'm really liking that custom Fox body Mustang. Especially those deep dish (Gotti ?) wheels.
Those Moebius Dodge kits are really nice, and I once had the 1991 Monogram ZR1 kit which was molded in yellow, and would dearly love to get that one back into my collection.
Hi Raoul, To the best of my knowledge, and a little research, the street Hemi was not available in 65. The biggest engine was a 426 wedge with a single AFB. There were SuperStock Hemi cars, like the A990, with about 210 produced. The first street Hemis came out in the 66 Belvidere
Decals means nothing to me. I just build the cars not often I put any decals on. My opinion the car is where the money is at , i pay good money sometimes just for spare engines and part , but it is what it is , i think this a sweet kit , and wish i had it lol
Nice stash adds. I’ve got to get the ‘65 Dodge Cornet and the ‘65 A990. I really want them. Nice to get a partial refund on the ‘40 Ford. Thanks for sharing.
I would like Moebius to bring out a '65 Coronet 500. I'll buy that before the sedan kit, especially now that you've told me the sedan has an incorrect interior. They did sell a Plymouth Satellite kit, alongside the Belvidere, so both bodies are there for them to release a 500 version, with minor changes from Plymouth to Dodge. Around here, the A990 is gone. My hobby shop owner ordered them, but the distributor Moebius sells through tells him the shipment from China has a lot of wrong bar codes on shipping boxes, and as a result his whole order of A990's came in as sedan kits (on top of the sedans he ordered). There is a shortage of A990's all over the US and a glut of sedan kits, because of the bar code foul-up. Monogram was liquidating a lot of the Viper kits at Ollie's for $12 dollars not long ago. Andy might have bought all he could, to resell them.
No Ollies on this side of the country. And from what I have seen on eBay. The Ollies ones had a Ollies price sticker on the inside of the shrink wrap. On the 65 A990. That happened to Hobby Nut models as well. He got about a third of the A990s he ordered and received way more Sedans than he ordered! I would also like to see a Coronet 500. I have the stock 65 Satellite!
Hey, I can put you in touch with the guy who restored that Landy car if you like. I know you like to research your builds, let me know if you want the contact info. That car is not currently in his collection, but he has about a dozen of those cars and they are all well done.
Good stash adds. I have the Moebius 1965 Coronet kit (blue box art) on order. I'm really looking forward to it. 😎👍
Hope you enjoy it!

I’m getting started on my 64 Chevelle. Going to do some comparison videos first.
Great stash adds! That 40 Ford was a great deal. Thanks for sharing.
It looks like a great kit.
You picked up some Great kits!!! I didn't know the blue 65 couldn't be built factory stock. Thanks for sharing
Thanks.
Very cool additions! I just picked up the Heavy Chevy myself and looking forward to building it. I really like that 5.0 mustang kit to.

I have the 89 ZR1 kit and the 95 ZR1. There are differences with those two and the 92 kit. I wonder if any differences with the 91 compared to 92.

I believe you are correct. I forgot that 64 and 65 were Race Hemis only and 66 was the first production year.
Very cool stash adds
Thanks!
excellent adds sir!
Thank you kindly!

Thanks. I have to look it over closer as to what I plan to build. This one will most likely be stock as my other 40 Fords are customs.
Just noticed that the Mustang kit uses the tail lights from the Revell Capri RS kit.
I think you’re right but I think this one was based off the McLaren Mustang.

Thanks. Are you talking about the 65 Coronet or the 68 Dart 440?
Can you unbox the mustang street machine hot rod!
I may eventually.
