What I love most about these videos is that you're not only reviewing the new items but still referencing those tried and true oldies that I always wonder how those compare or just reference other products that maybe we've forgotten about to remind me which is a better bang for my buck. Not to mention your thoughts and opinions are almost always spot on (besides that elf small stipple brush that I just can't seem to get a nice one no matter how many times I've tried exchanging it lol). 😘😘
Jennifer Ruckman I actually just looked at my Walmart where I originally found them and they didn't have them so maybe they don't make them anymore? It would be super disappointing if that was the case!
I have the same contour kit from 5 below and I love the brush for applying my face masks, especially when I have my nails done. It apply a my mud masks really well and it's easy to clean!
Btw could you try out a video like "get unready with me" for instance when you take off your make up and do skin care/put on a mask and just unwind and talk to us! Maybe even do a first impression on the mask you use
Yeah, honestly, same. The striped ones are better to me, but they just don't do it for me. And I went through a FULL one which lemme tell you took effort. The best lip balm I've ever found was by Aquafina, weirdly, but I can't find it anywhere now. The avon lip balms are generally what I end up using, and they're like a buck a tube and there's times of the year when I can buy them locally without having to order. The moisture therapy ones are the best. I also find that lypsol works pretty well, surprisingly, and even most Blistex products are good, but that classic smell reminds me so much of my mom that it's weird using it, lol. ...I like lipbalm a lot.
muppet family Christmas is my favorite! I'm in my 30s, and my mom and I still watch it every year together. I'm glad you share the same love for the movie and sharing it with Belle.
I think I've been wayyyy too spoiled with Emily's hauls! Anytime I watch anyone else's and they're like "Hey so I got this this this and this, Okay bye guys!" I'm like, where's the detail, or even a tiny first impression on any aspect of the product? No thoughts? No opinions on it at all? ❤️ Love this channel, it's been my favourite for 5+ years!
I have to say I love they way you do your makeup! I watch a lot of makeup youtubers and they're all great but every time I watch you're videos I think you just look so put together without over doing it.
True story, lol, my son is TERRIFIED of the Muppets because of Animal. He has nightmares about them! I'm sure he'll laugh about it one day, but we think it's kind of funny now. 😂😅
You said that the revlon lip butters were discontinued and I was shocked because of how obsessed everyone was with them a few years ago. They are still sold in Canada though!
I've seen those swisper sponges and so wondered how soft they are thanks for that! As a mom with three kids I just can't afford the micro mini' glad to hear there is a decent option for cheap!!!
Thanks guys!! I'm 49... I've had to change up things over the years. Example... I put my crease color slightly higher ( to decrease the puffiness of my eyes.. Make them look more like they did at 21 ... I have more sagging than wrinkles. I apply my contour slightly above the hollow to lift my cheeks back up. Contour in different spots along jawline to sharpen my slack jawline . Also finding eyeshadows that don't bring out creepiness. I still wear shimmers ;)... I'd love more tips like this to help me ;).
I feel like less and less youtubers talk about drugstore products like you! thank you for keeping with the new products and holding them to high expectations instead of the usual "its pretty good for drugstore" comments!!!
You can use that stiff face brush from that contour palette to apply face masks. I use a similar brush to apply mud masks that are thick and hard to spread. It applies a lot quicker and neater than just using fingers.
I love the real techniques mini sponges for under the eye and I also purchased the Ulta brand ones, but I find those work better for blending out an eyeshadow primer or even concealer on the lids (as a primer) because they are a little....more dense. Baking too, they work well for. Under the eye not so much
Love your video and look forward to new ones and also discovery your older ones too. Beauty is timeless and I get great information and inspirations from all of your videos. Thank you so much!!
The BEST lip balm I've ever tried (I've tried a ton as a college trumpet player) is the Lasting Smiles organic lip balm. I've only tried the peppermint scent, but I is the best, AND they donate to cleft palate surgeries. They sell them at target and online, and ipsy also sends them!
Thank you so much for telling us about the Revlon HD lip color! I was so sad they discontinued the lip butters and this is a great replacement. I never would have tried it if you wouldn't have mentioned them!
Thank you so much for the Muppet Family Xmas link!! I loved watching it with my 2 year old. I was pregnant with by son Connor when you were pregnant with Belle. Actually, you were about four months ahead of me so you were my go to for pregnancy, birth, and now toddler advice! I just wanted to say thanks for entertaining and informing me for the past few years.
That lipstick from the urban decay palette that you were wearing on snapchat earlier looked soo cool!! Thanks for the amazing videos, you are my absolute favorite RUclipsr! 💕
I have that Contour kit and really like it. Profusion has a lot of hidden gems in their line. Another of my faves from them is the the Studio Contour palette(2 correcting powders, 3 contour shades and 1 highlight).
I love to watch haul videos, too, and I don't care how long they are! If they are long videos, it just means that you have more products/deals to show! Thanks for the video Emily!
*I received that CG LASHY mascara but haven't opened it yet. Your reviews always make me look at products differently. I like the magical vibes you spread! ;)* Xx
Clinique makes a mascara intended specifically for the bottom lashes. Smaller tube and a tiny brush. My bottom lashes are rather long and with any regular mascara I always ended up with mascara on my cheek when trying to use the tip of other mascara brushes. A staple in my collection.
Always love your videos, even my husband watches over my shoulder. About your mascara over filled wand.... I dab the tip on a tissue before use. In fact I do that all through the life of that tube of mascara. It prevents overloading lashes and smudging during application. Occasionally I clean the whole wand with a napkin or paper towel as I think wands get gooped up, it works better after a cleaning.
The more I see you, the more I love your hair. I just think it really frames your face beautifully! Also, thank you for hitting that Revlon cream shadow. I was eyeing that up, and now I'm going to get it. 😁
I was underwhelmed with the So Lashy mascara when I first started using it, but I've noticed that I've been liking it more as time goes on. Not as much product build up. I was intrigued by the wand, as the little spiky ball kind of reminded me of the Benefit They're Real wand.
I had no idea lip butters got discontinued! I always preferred the color whispers from Maybelline but those were discontinued too. this reminded me to pull a couple of those back out, I think I'm going shopping in my own makeup collection tomorrow!
I purchased the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipstick in HD Vineyard. I think it smells like mango and I love the scent (I usually can't stand any scents in makeup) It's a bit of a brighter color than I normally wear but I think it will work with a slightly darker liner now and alone in Spring/Summer.
I tried the So Lashy! mascara. It works pretty well on my lashes. At least the mascara covers the brush better than the LashBlastPro. The Super Sizer definitely takes the cake as my all-time favorite.
I'm really happy with the Revlon tinted balm I got, because it has broad spectrum SPF 20! That's so hard to find. Plus, it seemed to give nice color, felt good and lasted a decent amount of time. It's something easy to keep with me and know my lips are getting sun protection.
I went CRAZY over Five Below's cosmetics. I bought the one that looks like a magazine cover. I also loved the Eye Pad. I bought one of the ones with tiny clear circles, and a 9 shade Sweet Tooth. I'm not a fan of the smell, and I've actually yet to try them out, but the packaging for them all are so neat and fun. Did you see those lovely geometric shaped ones too?
hi Emily. over the summer I was using nothing but stick blushes. and my #1 fave is the NYX. they're always on sale for $3 on their site and I have a bunch. now that fall is here I got out my powder blushes and I put them right back...also the Sally beauty brand palladio is a dream to apply. also, I picked up a contour palette for like $4 at ocean state job lot by profusion...never heard of it but the palette is so great! just a few thoughts...have a good day
I bought the Sephora's new mini sponges. They are very soft. I loved them. I think they are smaller than the ones you have but I find they work great for what I use them for. Love your videos and Happy Holidays!
I actually just discovered the Swisspers Mini Sponges yesterday at Walmart. I picked them up but was unsure about them so I put them back. Now I'm ready to buy them thanks to you! 😀 As one of my FAVORITE RUclipsrs, I always purchase (or not!) things based on your recommendations!! ✨💖👋🏼
Hey, love the channel, very helpful with these drugstore reviews! :) Can you review the new hard candy Metalic liquid lipsticks they just released for trolls?
after you mentioned the swispers in another video i bought them and they are amazing😍 I get the smoothest application under my eyes and.baking is so much easier!
Hi Emily, you are my favorite RUclipsr. I love watching your videos and finding out what is new at the drugstore worth buying. I bought those swispers because of one of your videos and I LOVE THEM!!!! they are better than the micro mini beauty blender. since tomorrow is my birthday, I will now be on the hunt for the lipstick you have recommended. thanks a lot. KEEP CALM AND WEAR LIPSTICK😉
The Elf color correcting stick in light peach has been working GREAT for me!!! I was skeptical when I saw it in the elf store but for $4 I thought "let's give it a try". It covers my dark circles better than the UD peach color correcting fluid. I'm asian with dry fair warm tone skin for reference. My dark circles are "normal to bad" if that helps.
you can "refill" your foaming hand soap dispensers with your holiday liquid soaps: fill of the container with 1/4 liquid soap and then the rest with water. swirl gently to combine. VOILA! foaming soap :-)
I trust your opinion more then literally anyone on RUclips when it comes to recommendations. Thanks for helping me out!
Hi Emily !! Love ur videos
thanks for keeping me company as I make dinner... My teenage son walks in and says."OMG Emily got a haircut! Looks cute!"
I'm obsessed with those Swisspers mini blending sponges! So good!
I need them, lol..
Yes I love them! I'm surprised I haven't heard anybody else talking about them!
Tierney Heisinger I couldn't find them!!! ill look again
Jennifer Ruckman I actually just looked at my Walmart where I originally found them and they didn't have them so maybe they don't make them anymore? It would be super disappointing if that was the case!
Jennifer Ruckman I found them by mistake at the Walmart neighborhood market. With the different kinds of cotton complexion pads.
I have the same contour kit from 5 below and I love the brush for applying my face masks, especially when I have my nails done. It apply a my mud masks really well and it's easy to clean!
sejdwbgsers good tip!
Stiff, dense and thin brush? Use it to mix and apply clay or mud masks.
I'm always looking forward to your drugstore hauls/reviews!! Thank you so much Emily!❤ you're awesome!!
Thanks for taking time to watch, Sandra!!
I stared at your eye makeup the entire video im literally so obsessed with it
I've had walking pneumonia for the past few days and your videos just make me feel so much better! Thank you! ❤️
Poor thing! Thanks for letting me keep you company!
you remind me of faith hill.
Alyssa M oh no! feel btr! i had the same thing for months. it was aweful.
TheUpwardSpiral It was! Thankfully I've only got a little cough still lingering.
Silvia Foxworth I do?
your natural lip colour is better than any lip products ive seen 😍
"The Second Coming of Lip Butters" sounds like a super bizarre horror film. XDDD
Btw could you try out a video like "get unready with me" for instance when you take off your make up and do skin care/put on a mask and just unwind and talk to us! Maybe even do a first impression on the mask you use
love it! I'll add this to my list
Madison FMUA scarlett Whisperer ASMR already has a video like this...
I love those swisspers but EOS are totally a pass for me. They just do a poor job of keeping your lips hydrated imo
TheKillerQueenfan I was just going to say that about the EOS balms, they don't hydrate my lips at all.
Tazzie1312 YES I love the Aquafina one!!! I find it at Dollar General!!
TheKillerQueenfan they make great cat toys. That's how I got my money's worth after they dried my lips out lol
+Shelby Bentley I used to get them at Dollarama but I don't drive so I can't get to any dollar stores anymore. They are amazing, they really are.
muppet family Christmas is my favorite! I'm in my 30s, and my mom and I still watch it every year together. I'm glad you share the same love for the movie and sharing it with Belle.
New Video from Emily! Yes!
thanks for watching! :D
whatsUPlocs 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I think I've been wayyyy too spoiled with Emily's hauls! Anytime I watch anyone else's and they're like "Hey so I got this this this and this, Okay bye guys!" I'm like, where's the detail, or even a tiny first impression on any aspect of the product? No thoughts? No opinions on it at all? ❤️ Love this channel, it's been my favourite for 5+ years!
PixieLovesItAll【Danielle ❤】 hahahaha omg i do the same thing. im like what wheres the rest of the info? hahaha
EOS does nothing for me, it's cute but very overhyped
Same. A huge waste of money and purse space.
Concon W absolutely!! I love my Palmer's lip balm. I haven't had chapped lips in 2+ years. Unless I forget to use it
Concon W all it did for me was make my lips super dry and chapped😑
I use it as a lip primer but agreed, for healing chapped lips I need something else.
Agreed. It made my lips super chapped. My favorite is the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm. I've used it for years now and no more chapped lips.
I have to say I love they way you do your makeup! I watch a lot of makeup youtubers and they're all great but every time I watch you're videos I think you just look so put together without over doing it.
I love it that you include mini reviews to your hauls! Great snapshot of new products since not everything gets a full review
Muppet Family Christmas is my all time favorite Muppet movie!
YES!!!
I found it on a YT a few years ago. Wore out my VHS!!
emilynoel83 Thanks for reminding me about Muppet Family Xmas! Queueing it up for the four yo tmrw! I love a muppet/Sesame Street crossover!
True story, lol, my son is TERRIFIED of the Muppets because of Animal. He has nightmares about them! I'm sure he'll laugh about it one day, but we think it's kind of funny now. 😂😅
Your videos always make my day!! Love your enthusiasm, and bright attitude!!
aw! That makes my day! Thank you!!
You said that the revlon lip butters were discontinued and I was shocked because of how obsessed everyone was with them a few years ago. They are still sold in Canada though!
Thaileen Aw Yes, they were discontinued in the states a couple years ago.
would love a video on the best 5 below pallettes!!!
I've seen those swisper sponges and so wondered how soft they are thanks for that! As a mom with three kids I just can't afford the micro mini' glad to hear there is a decent option for cheap!!!
Hey Emily! I know you might not find this heavily requested but could you give some tips for someone working with older/more mature skin
Madison FMUA yes!!! Like age 35-60...
I second this!! :-)
Madison FMUA YES! My grandmother wants me to do her makeup for a wedding and I need some tips and tricks!
Madison FMUA I agree would be awesome
Thanks guys!! I'm 49... I've had to change up things over the years. Example... I put my crease color slightly higher ( to decrease the puffiness of my eyes.. Make them look more like they did at 21 ... I have more sagging than wrinkles. I apply my contour slightly above the hollow to lift my cheeks back up. I feel like less and less youtubers talk about drugstore products like you! thank you for keeping with the new products and holding them to high expectations instead of the usual "its pretty good for drugstore" comments!!!
for any Canadian viewers try the Quo mini sponges from Shoppers Drugmart. It is a 6 Pk for 10.00.
I didn't know quo had mini sponges! Might have to check that out next time I'm at shoppers....
thatgirlNancyy love both the mini and regular size quo also has really good brushes I have a bunch of them
You can use that stiff face brush from that contour palette to apply face masks. I use a similar brush to apply mud masks that are thick and hard to spread. It applies a lot quicker and neater than just using fingers.
Muppet Christmas Carol! I grew up watching it every year, it's a classic! My kids, now, love it too!
I love the real techniques mini sponges for under the eye and I also purchased the Ulta brand ones, but I find those work better for blending out an eyeshadow primer or even concealer on the lids (as a primer) because they are a little....more dense. Baking too, they work well for. Under the eye not so much
Hey, Emily, thanks for showing these new drugstore products, if it weren't for you, I would have never known about them. Some nice products, thanks!
Love your video and look forward to new ones and also discovery your older ones too. Beauty is timeless and I get great information and inspirations from all of your videos. Thank you so much!!
Yes. My day just got better !!! love your videos.
Emily, when are you going to tell us about the new mascara that may be stealing your ❤️???!!!!!!!
Kristin Folden yes,
Kristin Folden no kidding! what a tease!

Kristin Folden I was wondering the same thing!
I love listening to you talk , always so informative and feel like im chatting with a friend 💜
I have to say, I'm loving the hair!
Thanks for the update! You look stunning and love seeing your mama glow! Hope you and the fam have a wonderful holiday!
those swisspers were game changers! I would LOVE if they'd make a larger one. so soft but still kept their "bounce". Wonderful tip! Thank you!!
Holy cow, your eye makeup is incredible! Your blending is absolutely amazing!
Jill Everton omg totally agree! In never thought lip balms were special, boy was I wrong. That one is AMAZING
softsoap also has a warm spiced tea scent that smells absolutely delicious!! definitely try that one too, I think you'd love it :)
Love coming home from a long day at school to a new video from you!
I absolutely love your videos. Your my favorite because your so honest!!!
every time i watch one of your new videos i'm shocked, your hair looks so good!! that haircut suits you so well!! you are beautiful!!
I just wanted to say thanks for entertaining and informing me for the past few years.
that's so strange how the tart cherry Revlon Kiss Balm looks so natural and soft on you and on me it looks hot pink!! Lip colors amaze me
I LOVE Profusion! The contour palette that looks like the Kat Von D one is AMAZING 😍💖👏🏼
Please give a review on RMS or Ilia which are now on sephora.. I would love to hear your thoughts on more natural/green products
Susana Barrientos Me too! I've recently purchased my first green makeup products and would like to hear her comments too. 😄👍🏻
Lisa Eldridge did a whole fall look on organic products which included that line.
i really love that audrey hepburn quote!!
love your hair! 😘
That color on your lids is gorgeous!
I'm dying to know what new mascara you're loving. Hoping for hint but I'll just keep waiting and watching cause I love me some super sizer!
That lipstick from the urban decay palette that you were wearing on snapchat earlier looked soo cool!! Thanks for the amazing videos, you are my absolute favorite RUclipsr! 💕
You always post when I'm on break between classes and it makes my day😍
I would totally use the stiff brush to contour my nose 😊
Ry22futbol that's what I was thinking!!
Always so happy to see one of your videos pop up in my subscription feed!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these products
I have that Contour kit and really like it. Profusion has a lot of hidden gems in their line. Another of my faves from them is the the Studio Contour palette(2 correcting powders, 3 contour shades and 1 highlight).
I'm a mini beauty blender skeptic so I need to check out the dupes! Thanks so much for all that you do Emily! 💛
every time i watch your videos im always motivated to do a full face of make up! im a high school senior so i never do much!
I love to watch haul videos, too, and I don't care how long they are! If they are long videos, it just means that you have more products/deals to show! Thanks for the video Emily!
for the under eye circles. try Pixi (target exclusive) brighteninh peach corrector. its magnificent!
*I received that CG LASHY mascara but haven't opened it yet. Your reviews always make me look at products differently. I like the magical vibes you spread! ;)*
Xx
Clinique makes a mascara intended specifically for the bottom lashes. Smaller tube and a tiny brush. My bottom lashes are rather long and with any regular mascara I always ended up with mascara on my cheek when trying to use the tip of other mascara brushes. A staple in my collection.
The Shimmer Eos lip balms are actually really great if you use them as a highlighter instead of a balm.
I bought the Swisspers when you mentioned them in another video - I love them!
I cut the little ball off my so lashy mascara and love it so much more! Lots more control!
Top 5 bottom 5 mini blending sponge
The more I see you, the more I love your hair. I just think it really frames your face beautifully! Also, thank you for hitting that Revlon cream shadow. I was eyeing that up, and now I'm going to get it. 😁
I was underwhelmed with the So Lashy mascara when I first started using it, but I've noticed that I've been liking it more as time goes on. Not as much product build up. I was intrigued by the wand, as the little spiky ball kind of reminded me of the Benefit They're Real wand.
Love your videos Emily. Your videos are so calming loving the hair still.
love your videos! one of my first and fav youtubers! i trust your recommendations!
I do really like that ELF color corrector. I just layer it up. Not mega dark circles for me, so it works.
I finally found these weeks ago, I love them, thanks for recommending these.
Looking absolutely RADIANT Emily!! :-) Looking forward to your next pregnancy vlog! I hope you are feeling as good as you look! :-)
thank you so much!! I am shooting to have a new vlog up on Friday! :)
BRUSH USE: Clean in between the keys of your keyboard w/those little brushes 😁
I tried the So Lashy! mascara. It works pretty well on my lashes. At least the mascara covers the brush better than the LashBlastPro. The Super Sizer definitely takes the cake as my all-time favorite.
I'm really happy with the Revlon tinted balm I got, because it has broad spectrum SPF 20! That's so hard to find. Plus, it seemed to give nice color, felt good and lasted a decent amount of time. It's something easy to keep with me and know my lips are getting sun protection.
I almost bought the new Revlon HD in Vineyard, but decided to wait for your review. That shade is beautiful on you! Thank you so much.
Did you see those lovely geometric shaped ones too?
you are still my favorite!!! trust your judgment and recommendations!!!!
hi Emily. over the summer I was using nothing but stick blushes. and my #1 fave is the NYX. they're always on sale for $3 on their site and I have a bunch. now that fall is here I got out my powder blushes and I put them right back...also the Sally beauty brand palladio is a dream to apply. also, I picked up a contour palette for like $4 at ocean state job lot by profusion...never heard of it but the palette is so great! just a few thoughts...have a good day
I bought the Sephora's new mini sponges. They are very soft. I loved them. I think they are smaller than the ones you have but I find they work great for what I use them for. Love your videos and Happy Holidays!
Love these hauls with mini reviews
I actually just discovered the Swisspers Mini Sponges yesterday at Walmart. I picked them up but was unsure about them so I put them back. Now I'm ready to buy them thanks to you! 😀 As one of my FAVORITE RUclipsrs, I always purchase (or not!) things based on your recommendations!! ✨💖👋🏼
Sending love over from the UK!!! :):) love your videos!!
Hiya from up north (Scotland)
I love it when u chat abt new products n show the application as a demo. I missed that in this video :/
the shape of the revlon hd reminds me of colorpop lippie stix.
I love your videos so much! I would love to see a tutorial on the Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly palette and the Sweet Peach!
TheAlicat08 do you make with the sponge dry or wet girlfriend?
I use it wet😊
Hi Emily, you are my favorite RUclipsr. I love watching your videos and finding out what is new at the drugstore worth buying. I bought those swispers because of one of your videos and I LOVE THEM!!!! they are better than the micro mini beauty blender. since tomorrow is my birthday, I will now be on the hunt for the lipstick you have recommended. thanks a lot. KEEP CALM AND WEAR LIPSTICK😉
Happy birthday! Hope you have a good one 💗
I found Swispers mini sponges three days ago and was thinking, I need to see if Emily knows about them. I really like them. So very affordable!
i would love to see a 5 below haul! it would be helpful to know which is good and not!
