আমাদের পৃথিবীর সৌরমণ্ডলের সবথেকে সুন্দর গ্রহ গুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম, আর আমাদের এই গ্রহে কমপক্ষে 195 টি এমন দেশ আছে যেখানে রাত এবং দিন প্রকৃতির স্বাভাবিক নিয়মেই চলতে থাকে। কিন্তু আমাদের পৃথিবীতে এমন কিছু দেশ আছে যেখানে প্রতিদিন রাত হয়না। আপনারা একদম ঠিক শুনেছেন, যেখানে আমাদের 12 ঘন্টা দিন, এবং 12 ঘন্টা রাত থাকে, সেখানে পৃথিবীতে এমন কিছু দেশ আছে যেখানে কখনো একনাগাড়ে রাত আবার কখনো একনাগাড়ে দিন থাকে। এইসব জায়গাগুলোতে সূর্য লুকোচুরি খেলে বেড়ায়, তাও আবার এমন ভাবে লুকোচুরি খেলে যে কয়েক মাস অতিক্রান্ত হয়ে যাওয়ার পরে ধরা দেয়।
