Then the dude straight up lies and claims Canelo was his 154 mandatory when the only mandatory situation that existed between the two was Andrade giving up his mandatory shot at Canelo's 168 belt. And just to further educate casuals/the uniformed: Andrade's only fight with the belt at 154 was vs Rose who WAS his mandatory while Canelo was fighting Lara another guy Andrade avoided. Andrade then gave up his belt refusing to defend against aforementioned Mell for career high money plus a 3 fight Showtime deal. Canelo didn't fight Liam Smith until over 2 years after Andrade's only activity as champ. And no the belt wasn't vacant like Andrade falsely claimed, Smith was attempting his 3rd defense which was more than one and done Andrade who dumped it after his first defense and refused to ever challenge for a title for the remainder of his years at 154, later swerving Mell again this time as mandatory to Mell's WBC belt and also saying he was avoiding WBA super champ Lara just to fight Culcay for a minor belt and peanuts. The fact that Andrade just blatantly lies to cover for his long track record of ducking and backing out of fights tells you everything you need to know about him. He's been in the witness self protection program so long he can't even give a straight answer on his name lol

He turned down the Parker fight that y'all weren't gonna credit him for anyway so who cares? He just delayed the inevitable by taking the Benavidez fight (which his father said they were gonna take over a year ago) and giving you stans no more "he ain't fought nobody!" excuses like y'all would've conjured up
