OMG so it's not just me. I could do the Yoto's F2 into chaining katana/heng sword uppercuts very consistently before this patch, but now the enemy's postion becomes kinda awkward after the F2, making me miss the initial uppercut a lot. On the other hand, most of Yoto's F1 combo still feel fine to me
@@CH-mz5od Yeah, I had problems with this yesterday too! After throwing Yoto's F2 after grapple bump, my opponent would be knocked too far away. It's good to know that her F1 still works though.
People kinda questioned about the HeavenStep only But i find it also hard to do the grapple + uppercut + 3x jump attack katana combo. I use this combo a lot since the damage is a bit better than grapple + hold combo, but its really hard to do now
As you said, really needed to be liek that from the beginning. personally also want something like this for fps. i used to play on like 50-80fps and it was hard to do combos. either lock fps to max 144 or something or find a fix so it at least feels the same for most of players (60-200fps)
Healthy change, none other to say about it.., Tho Ive heard that things that should be true for higher ping players like basically normal grapple combos are now no more consistent towards low ms high fps players, havnt seen conformation of it yet myself but I dont think this should be silenced if accurate.
I’m on console with 80 Ms and I’ve had to change the way I do grapple combos I have to position my grapple just right for the bump to float enough for the blue to connect if I do it how I use to they can roll out it feels kinda bad I learned all these combos and now I can barely do a basic one still a good change but the need to give dodge priority or something cuz now low ping players are really hard to fight
They killed the game iwth this update. cant do any combo on 15 ping anymore. Thanks devs. deleting this trash. Btw heaven step is nearly Impossible to do with fps 100-200 now

85 ping: can't connect any 2nd sliding upper; can't connect longsword focus attack in combo V - cV - grapple - F, rarely connects V in dagger combo FH - dodge - H - V(this one) - jumping V; can't connect cH in dagger combo H - cH - V. sure not the whole list
Yeah most players can still heaven step and do most combos because of fps. This update seems like it only helped the people with high fps already. Everyone else just unlucky

My biggest problem with this update now though is that they took away the only thing high ping players had going for them against lower ping players. Low ping players can react to a lot of things that high ping players need to make reads on unfortunately, but if they can balance this out too, I would be happy. I usually play on around 60 ping and 200-250 fps and It's difficult to fight low ping players, and now I can't combo them. I'm sure someone will come up with a workaround, just gotta wait until then...

yeah yoto combos feel very different now, some of them are broken, some of them are stricter in timings

The treshhold seems to be 120 ms. Above 120ms, the game is basically non playable anymore, not just combos, any stagger is broken

So put simply you have to know the exact timings for certain long combos or they won't work. That's what im gathering from this

With this update even grapple + focus combo is sometimes messing up with 80-85ms =// And I won't talk about Heavenstep...
Although higher ping used to benefit combos, parrying at higher ping sucked so now it just sucks all around for higher pings.
I play on 30fps laptop and am still trying to do combo like crazy. 😅

You mean fps no ? Above 120 fps it's pretty decent yea. But since I got my new cpu and very high fps, I wouldn't want to go back under 200 :o
