A safety tip never use wire brush on any grill or griddle. The wire bristles will break off on the grill/griddle and if you don’t catch it, it could end up in your food and can poke into your mouth causing and instant pain.
I’m a Barber in S.E. Kansas who is fairly new to gridding. I promote you guys all the time in my shop. Keep up the good work of reminding America how fun it is to cook at home with family & friends while busting each other’s... chops!!!!
If only I could get some heat going in the dang thing. It is cold! I have an old video where I opened a bottle of water that was sitting in the garage when it was about 15 below 0. Soon as I took off the lid the whole thing froze instantly! it was pretty cool! Thanks for taking the time to comment! -N
In the spirit of the griddle caddy, I use a large IP65 rated tool box to house all of my griddle utensils and accessories that aren't electronic. I keep it under my griddle (and griddle cover) and its been a fantastic purchase and cut down on irritation of going in and out of the house to grab a spatula or burger press. (plus the wife enjoys not having grilling supplies stored in the kitchen.
I use my cast iron skillets on the griddle, Especially the small one for eggs over easy. Love my griddle because you can make so much more than a grill and it is easier to keep clean. I find that I cook more outside than I did with my grill. Thank you for the tips.
Being from Lowell Ma in a huge asian community that's rice papper..great job Guys love your videos..stay safe during this Wicked Nor'Eastah Kid..Go Pats
Was it pork rinds? That’s what we used years ago to clean the grill but before we scraped it we used a black brick. If you rub it on something other than the grill it smells like a fart. Lol But when we left for the night our grill was shining black.
Thats pretty funny stuff Buddy 😄. Believe it not it was just rice paper and it was pretty cool. Salty , warm and crunchy. Good combo . Ty for commenting-J
Great video to show future griddlers and current ones what works! I love the steaming bowl...speeds up cooking them taters! Stay safe this week....Snow heading your way mid to late week! Dave in WV!
You guys rock. Enjoy what you do. Have gotten a few of your recommended items. Also enjoy seeing the 1.75 bottle hanging out at the 6:27 mark. You guys do enjoy your adult beverages. LOVE IT! Add in only folks who deal with this weather can truly appreciate summer. This from a guy in North Dakota.
I'll have to get the caddy. I use a tray but I always forget something. Can't wait for the beef recipe, and I love shrimp so I'll be waiting anxiously. Happy Holidays Guys.
Maintaining the seasoning is a balancing act of thicknesss. The thicker it gets the more it acts as an insulator and your griddle surface temp will go down. If your OK with this then yes, let it build and build. We prefer a thinner seasoning and find the 2 hander does a good job of keeping it thin over time. -N
Can you guys comment about gridding inside the garage ? The safety guidelines say you shouldn’t but have you had any issues ? Does the garage door get hot ?
Nice recommendations guys!
I got a kick out of you yelling up to your wife in that video they was talking about! LOL

Haven’t seasoned my new griddle yet,so I should get the 2 handed scraper, thought you wanted seasonings to build up on it
