Man, isn’t skin the most fascinating thing - the Natasha Denona eyeshadow formula is legitimately my holy grail for exactly the reasons you don’t like it lmaooo I’ve always had The Worst Time ™ with eyeshadows. (especially of the 2010s) and I tell you I used it and it would somehow both floof off my lid and refuse to build, but also stick to itself and?? Refuse to blend?? Too Faced, Urban Decay, Nyx, Morphe, Colourpop, Huda Beauty, a travesty, a horror, a wallet wasting away, primers of any and all kinds did either nothing or made it worse?? Somehow?? Single shadows from indie brands kept me holding on, getting a viseart petites palette mended my spirit, but the ND formula… My one true love floating in on gossamer wings… suddenly the concept of 5 minute eyeshadow is actually real and not something the beauty community had made up to gaslight Me Specifically. If ND eyeshadows have a million fans, I’m one of them. If they have one fan, I’m him. If they have no fans, I’m no longer of this world.
Kackie you look so fresh and glowy! I know you weren’t excited about it your haircut but the way you’re wearing it is so adorable. Thanks for the content as always!
I love, love, love Beach Walk by Replica, but I've opted l out of recommending/being recommended fragrances because scents are so personal to people. I've had a couple of perfume purchases that became regrets because I blind bought them after they were recommended to me, learned my lesson.
I love Beach Walk toooo!! And I absolutely agree that fragrances wear differently on different people, and something that smells like ammonia and cat litter to me might smell like drinking a warm caramel coffee by the fire to someone else. 🤷♀️
I don’t always share your opinions regarding makeup, Kackie, but there is no doubt in my mind that you are the queen of: chaos, color theory, making us smile, art, & being honest!! You also are a supremely awesome human! That is all. 🥰🤘🏻🥰🤘🏻
I have the Dr. Dennis Gros lip plumper and it’s the only product I’ve ever seen any plumping effect from and I don’t get clown lips. I also love how my lips feel, hydrated and soft for hours after application. It’s a staple in my routine now…🤷♀️ Goes to show how products work differently for different people.❤
btw i bought the chanel baume essential (not gonna look up how to spell that) in mermaid glow and i love her 😭❤️ it does the balmy thing but then with a little bit of fun with the glitter. also ordered the blue highlighter from that collection bc i couldn’t resist.
Replica Sailing Day is my go to fragrance. It’s clean and fresh and I have no idea if they even make it in home fragrance but it makes a great perfume.
You just saved me from the CL foundation. The perfect foundation is truly my holy grail quest - thank you for saving me from a disappointing and expensive detour!
I have to HUGELY disagree about the Louboutin foundation. It is now my HG. Good coverage and doesn't break up on my skin AT ALL, and lasts very very well all day. The one caveat is the neutral shades pull VERY warm, I had to buy cool to get a true neutral. The finish on this is FAR superior to the Prada foundation, lasts better and doesn't gather in smile lines like the Prada does. Louboutin foundation works very very well with hourglass vanish primer. I am 48 in a cooler climate and it works sooooo well on me. Louboutin knocked my Tom Ford traceless soft matte foundation off the top spot
The PML shadows surprised me in such a good way bc they sheer out revealing beautiful sparkle, looking like air and wearing decently - no complaints there and does it even claim to be water resistent? Common formulas apply this thick film, that easily looks crusty but surely offers this longwearing quality. I'm glad those are the first liquid shadows i considered to be beautiful close up
Hi Kackie ! I have so much to say about Replica! I have several full bottles, almost all of which have been entirely discontinued. I could go on and on about this, but my main take away is that their best scents in my opinion are the ones that get discontinued first. Specifically, I mourn the loss of Lipstick On and Whispers in the Library. I bought my husband Sailing Day and At the Barbershop, both of which are classic yet surprising takes on standard categories. I do not love their musk accord.
I think it would make for a fun and interesting video if Kackie explored colors outside her comfort zone while still using color theory to build an amazing look. For example deep purples and light blues look great on brown eyes
I wish lip plumpers turned my lips red! My lips don't have a lot of pigment and even a super strong stingy plumpers don't do anything to change the color and I wish they did because I love the burn and getting big puffy lips...grass is always greener (or in this case, redder.)
I did buy a Prada Soft Matte Lipstick in the new shade, Caramel. OMG! I love it. There is a very light fragrance that fades. It’s a cool brown nude. I am a sworn matte hater but there is something about this formula that I can say I like it! It applies very smoothly and stays comfortable. I initially tried Tonka. Against my light skin it was just too deep. For me Caramel is a great everyday lipstick. I love Chanel No.1 and the Fresh Water Tint. I don’t stray. I do like and use the Ciele tint & protect SPF 50 and the Ciele blush & protect SPF 50 for daily use. I live in south west Florida and go in and out all day. Thanks for another fun, great video. ❤️😘❤️ .
Since the release I was going to get the Louboutin one and now I’m not I have the Prada and many others I love. So I will be saving money now! Thanks! X
I got a sample of that lip plumper 3 days ago and was thinking about buying it. 72 and desperate to have lips again. Guess I will keep praying and keep my money in my wallet. Thank you!
When I heard Kackie say Ritual de Fille again my ears picked up and I had to rewatch the video. I am dying to try this brand because they are witches and so am I, and am impatient for next payday so I can order a tester from them. Thank you Kackie!-Trey
Granted I have only tried 3, but I love the Replica scents I have tried. My only complaint is that I don’t feel like they last terribly long on me. But that’s pretty typical for me and perfume.
Replica: I loved Tea Escape perfume, but the other frags indeed seem like they’d be better as diffuser oil or something. Natasha Denona: I feel like it truly depends on the palette and the color for the formulas. Prada: I keep hearing mixed reviews about the foundation. Louboutin: I feel like they (like Prada and other houses) started off as fashion houses and somehow think they’ll get by on their names if they venture into skincare and cosmetics that are just “meh”.
Me watching Kackie save me some coins like 👁👄👁 also my favorite "lazy, cozy, etc." fragrance is Clean Reserve Skin. Its truly the best "you but better" perfume in my eyes
NDs shades having that stickiness to them is actually what makes it one of the only formulas that works on my dry ass eyelids. Its sooooooo frustrating to see videos of people using a palette and BAM pigment and I use it on me and its dusty and sheer because my skin is so damn dry nothing will adhere to it ☠️
15:23 I’m so fascinated by the way the YSL concealer and foundation don’t match. Was it intentional? Could they have been trying to offer something specifically for concealing raised spots so the concealer makes it look slightly darker (therefore receding) and matte? As somebody who’s so bad at concealer, foundation, and shade matching that I just don’t bother 99% of the time I’m honestly intrigued by the idea of a brand offering me exactly the right shades of concealer for the foundation I would be using.
So to be honest I can't be that mad at YSL for that choice, and yet I totally understand why you're not pleased. See, as a pale bitch, I always buy concealer darker than my foundation. Its the only way to cover my dark circles well, so I get the practical choice of giving you a concealer that would theoretically work better as an undereye concealer. That being said, doesn't help to cover blemishes on the face, nor to do the "brightening" thing. So, its a toss up which is a better idea.
PMG don’t get caught in the rain lol. Nothing can surpass LE liquid lurex for me, i won’t even bother trying anything else. Gucci glosses i purchased right before EOY 2023 and made worse purchase ha, back it went. I’m done with trying the spicy plumpers.
This is the new one. I don't know if the colors go deep enough but the shade descriptions and inclusion of rosey undertones in WC&N looks really interesting. VERY VALENTINO 24 HOUR WEAR LIQUID FOUNDATION.
I mostly agree with you on the Replica line. I'll also add that I think they're overpriced. I tried the discovery set and there was only one where I could see myself wearing it full time, Under the Lemon Trees. I MAY buy a full bottle of it but again, even though I really like it, I'm not sure it warrants the price tag. Most of them don't have great longevity either.
When I got the Pat McGrath concealer to match my foundation it was also darker. I swatched in store and they weren’t but when I emailed they said it was normal 😬
im dreading watching this bc i went to sephora yesterday and i just can feel it in my gonads that something i bought is mentioned
DAMN IT KACKIE
OH MY GOD 😂😂😂
😂😂😂

your thumbnail says “don’t be fooled” with an arrow towards the gucci lip gloss……. but that may be a lesson i need to learn for myself.
😂😂 guaranteed me too
I get it 😂😂
I keep trying to remind myself lol but same!
Same but with the CL foundation I love the balm to much.
I love Natasha’s Denona eyeshadow palettes
I love, love, love Beach Walk by Replica, but I've opted l out of recommending/being recommended fragrances because scents are so personal to people. I've had a couple of perfume purchases that became regrets because I blind bought them after they were recommended to me, learned my lesson.

I have been underwhelmed by absolutely every Replica fragrance BESIDES By The Fireplace
Same
With Natasha Denona, the problem is that the eyeshadow colors look totally different in the pan than they do on your skin.

I have been so so SO impressed with everything from Ciele (except the powder tbh) that new bronzer/blush is GORGEOUS

Aww lazy Sunday morning is one of my top 5 fragrances
Replica Sailing Day is my go to fragrance. It’s clean and fresh and I have no idea if they even make it in home fragrance but it makes a great perfume.
You're the only other person I've seen to mention Sailing Day! I love it so much. It's such a unique fragrance and I find it has wonderful longevity.
Replicas " lipstick on " is one of my favorite scents i had a sample of it and the scent was amazing ... i also like " by the fireplace " 💙💛❤💚💜

Can you review the tubing mascaras from Lethal Cosmetics? They’re not luxury, but they are affordable and colorful!

Team matte lip balm for priming purposes, though (next step after using actual moisturizer on your lip skin!)

Im glad im not the only one who doesnt like ND palettes. I thought it was just me.
lol when you used your spit to easily smudge those eyeshadows 💀
So helpful!!
One of my fav ND pallets, lol 😂
Can you imagine stepping out into the rain with those Pat McGrath eyeshadows on? 🥴
😫😫😫
I want to try the Prada foundation, but im so torn 😭
😂🤣😂🤗👏👏👏👏👍🏻 great video and great laugh, thanks🌟🌷✨
The Armani Blush looks like it's desperately trying to be the Daniel Sandler watercolours
Are we certain Prada didn't make a solid perfume and accidentally release it as a lip balm? 🙈
Lazy Sunday Morning smells just of white flowers to me... No nuance. On contrary Jazz Club is a happy place for me.
How does the Danessa Myricks balm thingy compare with Jones Road balms?
The Jones road balms are super sticky. This is very smooth and not sticky at all.
I HATE HATE hate the DDG lip treatment. I got it as a bougie stocking stuffer for myself for Christmas and it’s disgusting 😂
Gah whyyyy does Prada have fragrance in the foundation ?! 😢
I got the Ciele blush in January and it’s beautiful, but it smells absolutely rancid. It’s like putting puke on my cheeks
Now THAT’s an advert sure to get attention 😊
When I got the Pat McGrath concealer to match my foundation it was also darker. I swatched in store and they weren’t but when I emailed they said it was normal 😬
