The cars that got me 1st into supercars in my youth are XJ220, CLK-GTR and the McLaren F1 GTR. I've still got the old magazines of the story's of all the cars and a rather large set of documentation of the XJ220 with the trouble that Jag was in at that time and eventually Ford taking over the company. Walkinshaw had his hand in many cars back in the day
That looks great! I have tested it at the 700pp event and you can get a good lap time but the fuel economy isn't so great so even at maximum lean you need to stop every 2 laps.
@@BOABModels - A lot of lift and coast for the first two laps. The first chicane is an obvious one for example as the right hander after the pit straight already scrubs your speed so there's no need to reapply the accelerator before the heavy breaking for the chicane. You can simply let the car coast (at high speed of course) towards the chicane without losing too much time. Another obvious place is the back straight leading into the Indianapolis corner. I was coasting around that fast right hander all the way through the next right hander. It can be done on so many places on this circuit tbh. My car makeup is different to the one in the video though in regards to downforce. Mine is the absolute minimum amount of downforce which will help with straight line speed even when saving fuel.
@@mr8I7 thanks a lot! When I've been doing it, I've kinda been going pedal to the metal to build up as big a lead as possible so this makes sense. I'll try what you've done.
Came back to say this works beautifully for the money grind race and is one of my favourite builds to drive and what a beautiful car I hope you do more of these customizations at 700 or 800pp for money grind races I’m in love with this car now what a beauty
I haven't tried any 700pp builds yet but 600pp build share the same philosophy, racing brake kits, rather high sensitivity diff and high suspension rate, not as high as your LM build but those are necessary for almost all builds, last but not least the XJ220 always behave like an ICBM even more than very high power 4WDs
Great video and beautiful built as always. From my point of view the point level calculation system is still pointless. It should only take in account WHICH kind of aerodynamic parts are used and not HOW - similar to suspension: stock = lowest point level; more customization options = higher point level. What's even more ridiculous that increasing body rigidity, adding a fully customizable racing transmission or LSD in some cases lowers the point level. Talking about LSD I also don't understand why initial torque cannot be set to 0...
So many memories! I bought an extra XJ220 just to make this! 😊👍
I have 4 lmao
I knew the XJ220 would be a big hit, but i never thought it would blow up as big as it did. Gran Turismo 7 Really nailed this car. Love it. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Will be tuning this beast after work today. You’re channel has me excited again for GT7 🤜🏻🤛🏻

You can get 3 laps from it quite comfortably. It's an absolute monster for this event tbh.
@@mr8I7 I'd like to know how
@@mr8I7 yup. Got 3 laps, too.😊

Change your brake bias more to the rear and you will be able to turn the corners and brake. It's already heavier in the rear so it helps anyway.
This car is also great for the Tokyo 600pp race. I bought 2 of them which will be tuned to 700pp
Oh the NFS memories. This vehicle is perfect for LeMans.4 laps per tank, even with a little stage 1 fuel on the straights.6 the rest of race.
Ahhh, right in dem GT2/GT4 feelz ❤😊

Ey nice one! Glad it works out nicely
@@HSGAutomotive hope you see this still but I think you should put the pp amount on the captions more but then again they change the pp levels often

Awesome more XJ goodness gonna add this to my FOUR XJ220s!!!! XD
Was never a fan of this one. I long for them to bring the XJR 15 back. Still great build!
Great tune. Thanks.
I hope you could teach us how to fix the handling for the Tomahawk X, it's been messed up lately for me on the Special Stage Route X

Tanx bubs 😘
For some reason i cant boot this livery up on the gt7 website whats the name of the creator of this?
I have the same question
Ok so after wasting a lot of time I think I found it the creator is called Owed_Mantor and the # are #jaguar #lm
Will this still work when fully upgraded I kinda want mine to be closer to the GR2 cars
The aerodynamics downforce is greyed out when I try and copy your tune🤔
DOH forgot to buy the wing
Try Mazda 15 road car it’s insane it has almost 900 torque at low rpm fully tuned 🫢
Diesel power
Which car are you referring to? There's a few 2015 Mazda's in the game.
@@mr8I7 atenza 15 road car
I went for gran turismo 4 XJ220 LM race car power
loved your senna tuning in fh5, do you mind making one for the STO?(no anti lag pls)
I haven't even booted up FH5 in ages tbh, lol
Can you plse make a tune video to simulate the old calsonic r32 gtr,I really love that car but u don't know how to tune
Possibly, I’ll have to give it a look
For le mans try 340 for gears
