It’s a description of the bike. You’re not telling me anything that I can’t see. How is the gear feeling. Is the brake system good, is it comfortable to ride in urban environments, what about maintenance is it simple? That is what I expect from a review!
These Gazelle bikes are built for a lifetime. I own one from 1939, the only parts who are not original are the chain and the tires. The rest, if maintain good, wil go forever. Mine is a single speed, but i live in a flat country 😀
If I lived there I would be stopping in that bike shop constantly. not enough shops with exotic bikes. I get so sick of the road and mountain bikes only
We have a few regulars that come in for espresso and just like to chat about or even ride our bikes. We let everyone ride them to get a full experience. It’s so much fun
Both man and woman ride these, there is also a male model. But realy nobody looks funny at you if you ride a woman old skool bike in Holland. In fact also for man its comfortabel to get on. And imagine if you accidently fal of the seat on a male version with the high steel beams 😩
Real oldskool would have kick back brakes. They last forever, you could get one stil from the 60s and cycle them daily. Aslo from different brands like, Sparta, Union, Locomotief and more.
@@obscurerides you could BUT… The Netherlands is a flat country. If you watch the ergonomics on this bike you see that on a hill surface the bike wil be more heavy to ride. But i guess in a city, and i think places like New York or Las Vegas are flat, it works. But using it on hills wil be more heavy. You could always contact the manufacturer online or buy a bunch seccond hand from Holland.
@@justlovelyaintit never said they don’t ride well. Quite the opposite- they’re made of steel, have a brooks saddle, have an upright position, and Dutch swept-back handlebars. This isn’t a lightweight road bike, mountain bike or e-bike. But they’re as comfortable as a beach cruiser. It’s obscure in terms of being uncommon. Thank you for your reply!
Gazelle is NOT primarily an ebike company, and they make a LOT of non-electric bikes.
Gorgeous! I'm glad Gazelle still makes these! :)

Try riding a slow, heavy, inefficient Dutch bike up a hill. It's a nightmare.
Looks like a very practical ladies bike, many excellent features.

Apakah ada toko online belanda yang menjual sepeda gazelle toeur populair?.
What's obscure about it?
Not very common in the US. It’s a proper Dutch bike made by Gazelle. Gazelle primarily makes E-bikes for the US.
