Both Palestinians and Jews have roamed this land for 40.000 years. Nobody on this planet has a right for a specific place, especially from a spiritual point of view, because this is basically your argument. We are all mere visitors. If we accept claims and borders from ancient times then all of Europe would be nonexistent, the US would be nonexistent and so on. The atrocities of Israel in the process of getting rid of the Palestinians it’s just outrageous and should be condemned 100%. No more weapons, no more aid for Israel, Israel is not a democracy. Since inception of the state of Israel, Israel does not accept the existing borders. Israel occupied Palestinian land the West Bank and Gaza, how do you justify that. I understand that these two peoples have been enemies on and off for many thousands of years. And in ancient times often enough they have been living with each other peacefully. The Allied Powers received title to the Ottoman lands by treaty and divided them up into nations. Saudi, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, etc. were all created at that time along with Israel. The fact that we talk about Palestinian territory was an appeasement for local Arabs who didn't want to be part of Israel. Jews lived as second class citizens in Muslim lands and under persecution in Christian lands. They were minorities in every part of the world. The Allied Powers, who were at the time sovereign over the land, gave the Jews a space to reconstitute their homeland. They are there by right. No Arabs had to lose any land. Just start with the opening statement that "80% of the Arabs living "in this area" think that was Hamas did on October 7th was fine." With all due respect, this is an inaccurate statement. Did you do a statistical survey with properly asked questions? Did you get any background about reasons for the answers? Was the sample size appropriate? Or, are you just guessing? Let's get one thing straight. In no way do Jews in general have a right to the land that is now know as Israel. They are there due to WWII, the Holocaust, and the Bristish mess up of promising the land to Arabs and Jews. The Biblical "God's chosen people" and God's land grant to Israel are nothing more than myths. Most educated Jews do not believe these myths. So, Jews, stop citing the Bible as your right to the land. Than is null and void. Over the 3,000 years, give or take a few hundred, many empires and countries have owned that land, gained by war. Examine the history books. The Europeans took the Americas from the people who were living there. It no longer belongs to these indigenous people. That inhumane, but humans have never learned not to use violence to gain what is not theirs. If Israel wants to end the war with Hamas and perhaps Iran, they should cease fire, offer to assist rebuiding Gaza, and make a fair offer of nationshood to the Palestinians. If Israel doesn't the war will proceed with thousands more deaths, and the real possibility or World War III happening.
I agree with everything that you've written, except that I believe that an international peace keeping team should have the responsibility of helping Palestinians rebuild their land. Israel could contribute financially, but I think that having former IOF soldiers walking around Gaza would be too traumatising for Gazan people. I truly hope that future generations can reconcile and that all the people of Falasteen/Israel can one day, travel safely and visit or even live in the lands of their grandparents. One, reunited, multi faith, egalitarian, democratic land of Falasteen would be a wonderful thing to see. However, whilst the recovery of Gaza is undertaken, I agree with other comments that I've read: that Israel needs to step away from that process to allow for healing. Any people in Israel and Hamas (if any Hamas are still alive?) who need to face the ICC, should do so. There are already volumes of evidence, even posted online, of IOF war crimes. The Oct 7th attack was a resistance attack, which is legal, under the Geneva Convention. I don't know that Israel (or the US!) actually took the time to find out who the identities of 'attackers' were. So many peoples' remains were burnt beyond identification - by IOF WEAPONS - that identification or even real cause of death is no longer possible. The lack of attention to veracity and the freely issued propaganda, by Israeli officials, is disturbing, to me. I write all this, as Iran is making retalliatory attacks on Israel, for the attacks Israel made on Iran. PEACE needs to be the PRIOITY and the US government should be talking about SIDING WITH PEACE, not the archaic "I side with this region, or that region". As a member of the Australian public, it's terrible to feel that I/we aren't being able to deflate this disaster.

This RUclips channel is not the battle for truth, it is the battle for the best propaganda. Just start with the opening statement that "80% of the Arabs living "in this area" think that was Hamas did on October 7th was fine." With all due respect, this is an inaccurate statement. Did you do a statistical survey with properly asked questions? Did you get any background about reasons for the answers? Was the sample size appropriate? Or, are you just guessing?
Let's get one thing straight. In no way do Jews in general have a right to the land that is now know as Israel. They are there due to WWII, the Holocaust, and the Bristish mess up of promising the land to Arabs and Jews. The Biblical "God's chosen people" and God's land grant to Israel are nothing more than myths. Most educated Jews do not believe these myths. So, Jews, stop citing the Bible as your right to the land. Than is null and void.
Over the 3,000 years, give or take a few hundred, many empires and countries have owned that land, gained by war. Examine the history books. The Europeans took the Americas from the people who were living there. It no longer belongs to these indigenous people. That inhumane, but humans have never learned not to use violence to gain what is not theirs.
If Israel wants to end the war with Hamas and perhaps Iran, they should cease fire, offer to assist rebuiding Gaza, and make a fair offer of nationshood to the Palestinians. If Israel doesn't the war will proceed with thousands more deaths, and the real possibility or World War III happening.
I agree with everything that you've written, except that I believe that an international peace keeping team should have the responsibility of helping Palestinians rebuild their land. Israel could contribute financially, but I think that having former IOF soldiers walking around Gaza would be too traumatising for Gazan people.
I truly hope that future generations can reconcile and that all the people of Falasteen/Israel can one day, travel safely and visit or even live in the lands of their grandparents. One, reunited, multi faith, egalitarian, democratic land of Falasteen would be a wonderful thing to see.
However, whilst the recovery of Gaza is undertaken, I agree with other comments that I've read: that Israel needs to step away from that process to allow for healing.
Any people in Israel and Hamas (if any Hamas are still alive?) who need to face the ICC, should do so. There are already volumes of evidence, even posted online, of IOF war crimes. The Oct 7th attack was a resistance attack, which is legal, under the Geneva Convention. I don't know that Israel (or the US!) actually took the time to find out who the identities of 'attackers' were.
