No. They have not undergone evolution to adjust to current environment so most probably you'll end up having to fund billions for suitable enclosure and diet for one.
      Wouldn't they feel lonely?

I mean it’s theorized that mammoths could eat the more toxic wild squash, so who wouldn’t want to study such an animals digestive system live?

If we "can bring animals back from extinction" why are we worried about endangered species? Is that a serious question?
Well, for starters, because if we bring a species from extinction that some corporation WILL OWN THE PATENT ON THAT. Look what's happening with seeds: one or two corporations own the patents on 90% of our food supply (crops and artificial chemicals to keep them growing forcefully - it's all patented so corporations can rack up farmers' costs at whim). The next time you go to the grocery store ask yourself why you pay so much for food.

Food for thought: if the ‘young earth theory’ is true, how come we don’t find frozen dinosaurs? It’s a bit of a clincher.

    • @samuelswanepoel7926
      @samuelswanepoel7926 5 лет назад

If the old earth theory is true then. Did the animal stand still while the rock formed around it or did he jump into the rock. See you have been brain washed. The Earth in its current form is only 6500 years old Most dinosaurs got extinct as a result of Noahs flood. GEN 6 in the Bible.

Here is a description of one in the Bible
“Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, Or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? Can you put a reed through his nose, Or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he make many supplications to you? Will he speak softly to you? Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him as a servant forever? Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you leash him for your maidens? Will your companions make a banquet of him? Will they apportion him among the merchants? Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle- Never do it again! Indeed, any hope of overcoming him is false; Shall one not be overwhelmed at the sight of him? No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand against Me? Who has preceded Me, that I should pay him? Everything under heaven is Mine. “I will not conceal his limbs, His mighty power, or his graceful proportions. Who can remove his outer coat? Who can approach him with a double bridle? Who can open the doors of his face, With his terrible teeth all around? His rows of scales are his pride, Shut up tightly as with a seal; One is so near another That no air can come between them; They are joined one to another, They stick together and cannot be parted. His sneezings flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go burning lights; Sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke goes out of his nostrils, As from a boiling pot and burning rushes. His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes out of his mouth. Strength dwells in his neck, And sorrow dances before him. The folds of his flesh are joined together; They are firm on him and cannot be moved. His heart is as hard as stone, Even as hard as the lower millstone. When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid; Because of his crashings they are beside themselves. Though the sword reaches him, it cannot avail; Nor does spear, dart, or javelin. He regards iron as straw, And bronze as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee; Slingstones become like stubble to him. Darts are regarded as straw; He laughs at the threat of javelins. His undersides are like sharp potsherds; He spreads pointed marks in the mire. He makes the deep boil like a pot; He makes the sea like a pot of ointment. He leaves a shining wake behind him; One would think the deep had white hair. On earth there is nothing like him, Which is made without fear. He beholds every high thing; He is king over all the children of pride.”

Not to mention that it's selfish of humans do to so .
why.... Just because WE WANT TO
      that's bullshit.
some things need to be left int the past, simple as that.
Mammoths had their moment in time, leave it at that
      look at it like this
if humans died out then 1 billion years from now, some new race decides they are going to ressurect us
WOULD WE WANT TO BE BROUGHT BACK
then there's re integration to consider
we would literally be 1 billion years behind in advancement
why would we even bother coming back

Not to worry. They would have to shrink the Dinosaurs so they could live in the modern day. I imagine they would be, at most, about the size of an elephant.
As for why. The Oxygen levels of our atmosphere is a lot lower then way back when. It's also why we don't see large mammals out side the oceans, or big bugs anymore.

0:45 - studies of Yuka mammoth's brain found it was very similar 2 modern elephants. Othr mammoths were found in region but not as well preserved.
3:12 - Yukagir Bison in Siberia, a Steppe Bison, the ancestor of the modern bison. Most intact of Steppe bison found. Researchers studied it's body.
5:10 - Kolyma Woolly Rhino in Siberia. Very rare 2 find a body of any value. Were about same size of Javan rhino, had long bodies, short legs, flattened front horns, very thick skin n fur.

Good idea, it is a good experiment as brining one back will not ruin any ecosystems or improve any so any issues with them will not have any impacts. But it would be better to do it on ones going extinct. You see the biggest issue is some of these species like the dodo do not breed often sometimes a few times a lifetime so many species may never re populate. If we can re birth some from these methods we can increase the chances.
