I am one of those Cambodian referees who took refuge in the Khao-I-Dang refugee camp in late 1979, and I was admitted to the United States in 1980. I will never forget my life in this camp. I want to thank the Thai government for providing this crucial humanitarian program along the Thai/Cambodian border that saved many lives from the Pol-Pot communist regime.
