How would you go about making your Davinci Resolve text scroll horizontally, but the alternating lines scroll in opposite directions? All while maintaining a screen filled with text?
how do i get rid of the background node in my timeline? so its grey in my time line and covering my footage. composite mode "add" works but its not visible :(
Hi! I've got a question and I hope you can shed some light: how can I copy keyframes from one node to other? Let's say I've got a simple transform animation on x and y position and I wanna copy those keyframes to another node, same type of node or different. Well, in after effects it's as simple as doing copy and paste from one layer to another, but in Davinci Resolve copy and paste doesn't work. Is there any solution at all for this? I always have to do the animations by hand and can't reuse other nodes animation which is a pain in the ass and a complete loss of time. There must be something I'm missing or a workaround out there. In your Spline Editor in the corner you have setting/filter select show only selected tool. It will enable the possibility to see only the keyframe in the spline editor of the current node selected. Then select the node you wish to copy the keyframe from. Then select the node you wish to paste those keyframe on, for whatever reason you need to drop a keyframe first to have the keyframe line appear and then paste you keyframes. If you don't do that Davinci resolve crash, at least it does for me. The software is far from perfect there's a bunch of hikup like that, lately it has been fairly unstable for me, I've experienced a bunch of crashes working with templates and macros..

I would say don't do too much. Go with simple stuff if the channel as a minimalist branding. Use black and white, eventually an accent color that match their brand. For the animation go for simple stuff as well opacity, size, position animation most likely. Like a text going out of mask with some feathering of the mask for example. Basically just keep it simple.
