Theo, Nick’s movements are so assured and smooth - truly beautiful to watch! I’m very glad to hear that Bee is doing better. The past year has been difficult for everybody and it affects people differently - it’s important to take time out to heal.
I feel Bea's Blues having been through it for the past 5 years(Divorce), I am just now pulling out of it these past 6 months by creating a flexible morning routine body, mind, and soul focus juicing raw fruits and veggies, walking and meditative prayer. Drugs and Counseling did very little but time to heal and positive focus has improved my sleep, and eating habits. God Bless you Beautiful Bea! Online life can be surreal but your homestead will keep you grounded and you have a positive life partner in Theo that is a blessing from above. Remember your pets can feel your pain and will do all they can as well to see your spirits rise! Pull back from Insta-glam and focus on your wonderful photography and stories that spark the imagination. This too shall pass, Joy comes in the morning!

Theo, you shouldn't paint the walls, here in Spain we have fine-grained plaster top coats which you polish with a float to seal, they come in literally dozens of pastel colours. You apply in a 2mm coat, which means any scratches, scuffs etc. don't show.

Your barn is really so beautifully finished, well done- I see the work ethic you and B have and it’s so impressive what your achieving with the challenges that keep cropping up - one roller coaster after another - you have both kept going. Re asking for help: You would drop everything and help any of your friends/family who needed you. You are not weak or lazy for asking for help. The healthier and stronger you are for you, imagine how much stronger and healthier you are for Bee, who wouldn't want you to burn out either. I'm so happy you asked for help and that Nick was able to help you. Please let Bee know how loved and missed she is. No one gives chicken and plant updates like she does. The house looks beautiful, and what a lovely reminder on how loved you both are that someone came to help you build up those walls. So many reminders in the stones, plaster, boards of how strong your love for each other and your community is.

You know Theo having someone else help finish the plastering was by far the most sensible thing to do. My partner insisted on doing everything himself on our home renovation. We nearly split up over his inability to accept that it was taking literally years to complete certain tasks. Eventually he agreed to get some tradespeople in. Our house is now 90% finished. My mental health & his too has improved. So, good on you for accepting that sometimes it's better to accept help, than to soldier on. Bee's health & your own is the most important thing. I love you guys so much! Thank you for providing content for us followers. I loved watching the plaster going on, it's almost therapeutic. Anyway, I wanted to reach out because I love Bee so much. She is an inspiration and is so lovely. I love her sense of humor and I understand what she is going through. I suffer from depression and anxiety attacks. It was so severe. This pandemic does not help those who mentally struggle. It is a silent battle and I have seen people succumb to it. What helped me was giving my life to God. He has given me so much to look forward to. Of course, I have bad days too, but it is bearable and I know that there is more to life than my depression. I am here for you both! I know it is not easy on Theo either and I wanted to extend my sympathies and shoulder if either one of you, or both need to talk. Be good to each other like I know you will and hang in there. God loves you so much!

I totally understand your excitement, getting past what are called the ‘wet trades’ is a major milestone and from here you can work in a much cleaner environment, which makes everything nicer. Kudos to Nick for stepping up and doing such an amazing job. It’s hard physical work and he made it look easy, plastering is very skillful and requires a ‘Zen’ state of mind to get through a large project. I think you will get much more pleasure from pointing the feature wall now you are surrounded by finished walls and the task will not seem as daunting. I agree with you about reaching a state of completion before you go away and for Bea it will be so much better to come back to a home where she can see huge progress and not have to focus on the constant clean up that comes with plastering. I’m so happy to here that Bee took herself away for a break, she definitely earned it & lovely to here she smiling again.. Mental health is not easy, I worked in a assessment & treatment unit for 24yrs we would see all levels of the illness but it was so rewarding to see our patients get well & be able to go back home! Hopefully 🙏 you both be able to come back home & reunite with your families.. Well done to your friend Nick for dropping everything to help a friend in need, so happy for you Theo to also have support at this hard time! Big hugs both 🤗

Theo, you shouldn't paint the walls, here in Spain we have fine-grained plaster top coats which you polish with a float to seal, they come in literally dozens of pastel colours. You apply in a 2mm coat, which means any scratches, scuffs etc. don't show.
Yes a Rustic finish collects dust. Are they Gypsum based and trowelled hard with a narrow short trowel?

Re asking for help: You would drop everything and help any of your friends/family who needed you. You are not weak or lazy for asking for help. The healthier and stronger you are for you, imagine how much stronger and healthier you are for Bee, who wouldn't want you to burn out either. I'm so happy you asked for help and that Nick was able to help you. Please let Bee know how loved and missed she is. No one gives chicken and plant updates like she does. The house looks beautiful, and what a lovely reminder on how loved you both are that someone came to help you build up those walls. So many reminders in the stones, plaster, boards of how strong your love for each other and your community is.

You know Theo having someone else help finish the plastering was by far the most sensible thing to do. My partner insisted on doing everything himself on our home renovation. We nearly split up over his inability to accept that it was taking literally years to complete certain tasks. Eventually he agreed to get some tradespeople in. Our house is now 90% finished. My mental health & his too has improved. So, good on you for accepting that sometimes it's better to accept help, than to soldier on. Bee's health & your own is the most important thing. Plastering is hard work, in that apart from being labour intensive, it’s also very time consuming. Kudos to him for doing this for you both. I hope one day, you’ll be able to do the same for him. I love you guys so much! Thank you for providing content for us followers. I loved watching the plaster going on, it's almost therapeutic. Anyway, I wanted to reach out because I love Bee so much. She is an inspiration and is so lovely. I love her sense of humor and I understand what she is going through. I suffer from depression and anxiety attacks. It was so severe. This pandemic does not help those who mentally struggle. It is a silent battle and I have seen people succumb to it. What helped me was giving my life to God. He has given me so much to look forward to. Of course, I have bad days too, but it is bearable and I know that there is more to life than my depression. I am here for you both! I know it is not easy on Theo either and I wanted to extend my sympathies and shoulder if either one of you, or both need to talk. Be good to each other like I know you will and hang in there. God loves you so much!

I totally understand your excitement, getting past what are called the ‘wet trades’ is a major milestone and from here you can work in a much cleaner environment, which makes everything nicer. Kudos to Nick for stepping up and doing such an amazing job. It’s hard physical work and he made it look easy, plastering is very skillful and requires a ‘Zen’ state of mind to get through a large project. I think you will get much more pleasure from pointing the feature wall now you are surrounded by finished walls and the task will not seem as daunting.
I agree with you about reaching a state of completion before you go away and for Bea it will be so much better to come back to a home where she can see huge progress and not have to focus on the constant clean up that comes with plastering. Best wishes to her and hope she is feeling better, we miss her smile. Well done Theo, you are an amazingly sincere and respectable young man and an inspiration.

I’m so happy to here that Bee took herself away for a break, she definitely earned it & lovely to here she smiling again.. Mental health is not easy, I worked in a assessment & treatment unit for 24yrs we would see all levels of the illness but it was so rewarding to see our patients get well & be able to go back home! Hopefully 🙏 you both be able to come back home & reunite with your families.. Well done to your friend Nick for dropping everything to help a friend in need, so happy for you Theo to also have support at this hard time! Big hugs both 🤗
