New subscriber here. Thank you for all your informative videos. It gives me an idea on how to navigate my 7 days trip to Switzerland from Zurich. Lautetbrunnen, Wengen, and Murren are on my list of places to visit. I am not sure if we can do a day trip 😄. Also your Interlaken video is very helpful too. Next time we come back I will definitely get the regional ticket. Right now we purchased the Swiss pass for 4 days and thanks for your suggestion on How to enjoy Zurich.

Louis in your video you spoke of a Geneva Chocolate store. Do you know if it’s at the airport. Prior to you video I made all my reservations and train tickets. No Geneva on this trip maybe next year. But I am going to Gruyere when I arrive for 1 night. Kevin
Thanks for the helpful video! A question, if you have a moment to answer: I am visiting another country from Zurich by train (bought a ticket through SBB) and the ticket included a train ride from the airport to Zurich HB. There is a departure time noted on the ticket from the airport to HB, assuming that it is the one with the shortest layover/wait. But what if I want to take an earlier train to HB? Could I just get on any train that goes directly to HB with the ticket even though it's for a later time? I don't do well with short layovers and want to give myself plenty of time before my long train ride outside Switzerland.
If I purchase the Swiss Travel pass, do I need to get a ticket at the machine? Or can I just get on any train with my pass?

I’ve never experienced anything chaotic in Zurich airprot, this summer has been the same, even when it’s busy everything is very organized and efficient

The only stress about the issue of the two sectors is that you aren't allowed to cross between them without a flight ticket. So people renting cars but not flying may have a problem

All your videos are great! Questions: 1) is there also free wifi in ZRH?, 2) if we purchased a train ticket online ahead of time, can we just take a screenshot, or we need to open the app if we have WiFi and show our ticket in the SBB app?

you can just take a screenshot, as long as the QR code on the ticket is clear / able to be read by their scanner you should be all good

The Zurich part was confusing. So you get off the airplane and have to get on a train with Heidi to go get your luggage?😅 I’m lost!
Right! The good thing about this is that you don‘t have to walk long distances with your luggage. The carousels are right bevor the customs exit. I prefer this method.
Wish I saw this video in 2019. I did better at navigating the whole country then navigating ZRH.
