The MLS shows at least 3 still available for sale, with some sale pendings also. It appears that these are the only new construction condos available in downtown Ocala. Hands down, the best video on a Calesa floorplan. I really like this model, but the upgrade costs and HOA potential increase makes me put on the brakes. (The nest cabinetry alone is probably another 20K to the house price. That's just the nest, not the lighting, kitchen upgrades, any tray ceiling, additional outlets, upgrade to comfort height counterops, etc) Vinyl fencing is VERY costly- at least another 10K). Is Calesa on city water and sewer?
Thanks for the feedback. In the 4 years Calesa has been open they have no raised it once. They are very serious about not giving the homeowners any unnecessary costs. Calesa is all natural gas community with private water coming from a company.
A usable in law suite would have a full bath and at least a sink in the kitchenette. Where will grandma shower, where will she wash her out coffee mug? That’s an office space.
1 room is a bedroom but you can make the adjoining bedroom a living room / kitchenette with mini fridge, sink and countertop. There’s so much that you can do with this floor plan. @sylviajohnsonleanin
There is a homestead law in Florida that says your property taxes cannot increase more than 3% a year. This keeps your taxes from getting out of control. By your logic you could buy a lot in a trailer park and have really low taxes…but you live in a trailer park.
Ocala’s hidden gem for sure! My clients love this community. I’m assisting one of my clients create a wonderful in-law suite area. I’ve designed 1 room to be a kitchenette area w mini refrigerator and living room. We’re going to also put a barn door from the hallway entrance. Such a beautiful floor plan. Another clients loves the 2 story Mulberry. We’re designing it with her now. You’ll only win in this gated community. ❤ @sylviajohnsonleanin
