Persona 5 is better than Breath of the Wild in my opinion. Just slightly better. Also Crash N Sane Trilogy near the end of June. Will be busy with both Switch and PS4.
Horizon zero dawn, nioh, persona 5 are all goty titles. Only goty title for nintendo is zelda. All the other games you listed are recycled part games or not that good. The only thing I'm truly looking forward to is metroid prime 4. Besides that I'm much looking forward to god of war, spiderman, and days gone than any other nintendo game. Plus nintendo doesnt get access to many multiplat games which is the biggest decider.

A "Salmon Run" is when multiple bears wait at a river to catch salmon swimming upstream during their mating season. And you fight the Salmonids at the "Spawning Grounds". Maybe there'll be some Sunken Scroll or two explaining this?

Mii U iirc, one of the Splatoon 1 stages showed an inkling girl in a pool. I'm pretty sure they _can_ swim, just not in certain circumstances (like turf war).

I had a dream before of cod zombies but with tons and tons of blood, reminds me of splatoon a little, only the difference is the zombies had tube parasites ejecting blood constantly from them like a sprinkler or straw and if you touch the blood you get infected.

And even then, the game is a TPS where the goal is to spread ink, screen peeking ain't going to save you if the other players are just that much more efficient at covering turf and splatting you when your seen
There should be 2 modes for Salmon Run, one like this shown in the video and the other to be a traditional wave where the higher the level the more points you rack up as well as difficulty.
To me, this is best addition to Splatoon 2. I will play the crap out of this mode. I'm not a huge Call of Duty fan, but I do love the zombie mode. It is going to be so fun to team up with other people online and play this. I do hope there's more stages than just this one and they also add more with DLC as well.
not necessarily TF2 MvM specifically, but more of just any generic zombie horde survival mode. you survive as a group against various enemies and collect stuff
I really hope there's going to be way bigger stages that would make things even more strategic especially with voice chat telling which enemies are where if you know what I mean
I counted I believe ten different Boss Salmonids over the course of that, and there should be more. I am terrified, not only at how hard this will be, but at how pissed I am going to get at my friends for losing with me.
They're likely more types since its just a demo of the mode. From the looks from the event with the Grillers, a center kind of Boss Salmonid will appear along with one of the standard ones. Some types like the Goldies and Grillers might only be exclusive to some events, but we don't know for sure.
Xavier 89 Interesting thought. I've been cut off from true zombie horde modes on my own consoles, being a Nintendo person, but the "special" ones have always interested me. I really look forward to the whole "Incoming Steelhead" moments between friends, and I wanna know how tactical/hectic I'm gonna have to be. Oh, and to further your idea, do you think that glowing one during the fog event that we get a glimpse of is a different type, or do all the Bosses do that?
Xavier 89 That would likely confirm your idea that events have bosses tied in with them. I mean, the Goldies only coming with the fireflies event makes sense, but a light-up Boss would make no senses in other contexts.

Really excited for co-op mode. I enjoy them more to VS. Would really love a new Star Fox game to have modes similar to this. Having friends play as different members of Star Fox team (Fox, Krystal, Slippy, Peppy and Falco) to take on a challenge together would be a lot of fun.
theorycraft strat: 2 DPS Unit, 1 Turfer support, and 1 Egg Scout Support. DPS Units will use strong, ranged weapons like splatlings, squelchers, splat pros, and Gals. Maybe even Chargers. Job is to damage and damage only. Sub and Specials: Splat/Suction Bombs to deal with the Missile Boss. Inkjet/Bomb Bazooka for general damage- Splashdown as a last resort clear the path. Turfer support will use a high-fire rate weapon like a splattershot, Dualies, splash-o, aerospray, N-zap and make sure the turf especially that surrounding the DPS units are covered. Allowing the DPS mobility and to refill ink. Secondary task: Damage bosses, grab eggs, revive players. Subs and Specials: Ink mines to create a safe perimeter and cover any blindspots. Sprinklers for turf coverage. Splash Walls to support DPS units. Ink Storm to obviously help cover the turf. Egg Scout will be in charge of grabbing the eggs. They will need something like the Luna Blaster, Dualies, Inkbrush, sploosh-o, tri-slosher to easily clear paths and get rid of small fry in the way. Secondary task: turf support, revive players. Subs and Specials: Ink Mines to create perimeters and kill enemies as you do something else. Burst Bombs as a panic gtfo move. Poison Mist to slow down Boss Salmonids. Point Sensors to track them. Splashdown as a last resort move. Ink Storm for turf support. Echolocator if it returns. note: i doubt that the old special weapons will return since many of the new ones seem like combinations that compromise and otherwise obsolete the previous by taking the best of both. ie: splashdown = bubbler/kraken as last resort without the mobility that made them OP. Ink storm = inkstrike turf coverage without the kill potential that made it very strong in splat zones and tower control. etc.
It would really be awesome if there were bots in this game so I could play turf war off line. Can't wait for this game next month. Keep up the great work

Oh, and to further your idea, do you think that glowing one during the fog event that we get a glimpse of is a different type, or do all the Bosses do that?

Xavier 89 That would likely confirm your idea that events have bosses tied in with them. I mean, the Goldies only coming with the fireflies event makes sense, but a light-up Boss would make no senses in other contexts.
+Trevor Aven Seems unlikely they would do that, but I see get what you're saying know. What I'm curious the event they mentioned about the Salmonids launching some big attack. They were being, so not much detail to go on.

Really excited for co-op mode. I enjoy them more to VS. Would really love a new Star Fox game to have modes similar to this. Having friends play as different members of Star Fox team (Fox, Krystal, Slippy, Peppy and Falco) to take on a challenge together would be a lot of fun.

theorycraft strat: 2 DPS Unit, 1 Turfer support, and 1 Egg Scout Support.
DPS Units will use strong, ranged weapons like splatlings, squelchers, splat pros, and Gals. Maybe even Chargers. Job is to damage and damage only. Sub and Specials: Splat/Suction Bombs to deal with the Missile Boss. Inkjet/Bomb Bazooka for general damage- Splashdown as a last resort clear the path.
Turfer support will use a high-fire rate weapon like a splattershot, Dualies, splash-o, aerospray, N-zap and make sure the turf especially that surrounding the DPS units are covered. Allowing the DPS mobility and to refill ink.
Secondary task: Damage bosses, grab eggs, revive players.
Subs and Specials: Ink mines to create a safe perimeter and cover any blindspots. Sprinklers for turf coverage. Splash Walls to support DPS units.
Ink Storm to obviously help cover the turf.
Egg Scout will be in charge of grabbing the eggs. They will need something like the Luna Blaster, Dualies, Inkbrush, sploosh-o, tri-slosher to easily clear paths and get rid of small fry in the way.
Secondary task: turf support, revive players.
Subs and Specials: Ink Mines to create perimeters and kill enemies as you do something else. Burst Bombs as a panic gtfo move. Poison Mist to slow down Boss Salmonids. Point Sensors to track them. Splashdown as a last resort move. Ink Storm for turf support. Echolocator if it returns.
note: i doubt that the old special weapons will return since many of the new ones seem like combinations that compromise and otherwise obsolete the previous by taking the best of both. ie: splashdown = bubbler/kraken as last resort without the mobility that made them OP. Ink storm = inkstrike turf coverage without the kill potential that made it very strong in splat zones and tower control. etc.

In this video they said this mode has local 2-4 player multiplayer. They didn't specify if it's split screen but I assume it is.

TheBitBlock splatoon is mostly an online game. I don't know what people are expecting when splatoon doesn't have split screen

Splatoon 2 can run in 1080p 60 fps on the Switch? I thought it was gonna be run at 720p but I'll take 1080p any day. :D

Obviously, I was mainly focusing on the docked version of the game when I wrote my original comment.
I hope in a future update, there will be an endless mode where you just advance round after round until the game reaches its limit.
