The Police - Synchronicity Concert (1983) *OUTDATED*

The Police live at The Omni Coliseum in Atlanta, Georgia on November 3, 1983 (Synchronicity Tour 1983-84). For this concert, the footage was not in the correct order that the songs were performed, so I rearranged the video footage in the order that the songs were performed. I also tried to smoothly transition between the parts that I rearranged to avoid any obvious cuts. I restored the video footage by adding color correction (brightness/contrast, saturation, lighting/color levels) and sharpness. I enhanced the audio by adding compression, EQ, normalization, and soft reverb to add to the concert atmosphere. The only song that wasn't included was "Murder By Numbers".

After watching this concert there's little doubt that Stewart Copeland is one of the greatest drummers and the best percussionists of all time.

Is so increíble just 3 musician make this enormous music this is 1 of 2 groups that I admire the most and I like the other is Queen, they are giants of music, I had this concert in my hands at Betamax shortly after it happened!!
Now this is what concerts are supposed to be! No cell phones! Everyone enjoying the moment and having fun! Man it was great growing up in the 80’s! This is what real musicians sound like kids! Sting, Stewart and Andy = chemistry!

Incredible talent and energy, and the backing vocalists deserve huge recognition for being that extra special sauce.
My dad is a huge police fan and he had this concert on dvd. He would play this exact concert dvd for me in 2007 in his truck that had a dvd player wherever we would go. I watched this probably dozens of times growing up. Brings back memories thx man.

I was 13 years old when I saw The Police on the Synchronicity tour. Watching this brings back so many sweet memories.
I was 15 for this tour. Saw the show at Hollywood Park in L.A. which was a horse racetrack. The opening lineup was The Fixx, The Thompson Twins and Berlin. Man, to be 15 and witness this. Stewart was my man! He is a freakin BEAST behind that kit!

My parents had this show on VHS and played it all the time when I was little. I’m 90% sure this was what inspired me to eventually become a bass player.

I was fortunate enough to see it on cable TV back then.
I was 11 years old and madly in love with Sting. I tape recorded this concert from the tv at my friend's house because we didn't have mtv on cable. Knew every inflection of every song lol. Such great times! My 11 year old self would not understand or believe this thing called RUclips would exist that would make practically everything ever recorded available :)

Same. My high school friend had this on VHS and our group of 6-7 buddies in high school would party at his house on weekends and play this over and over and over. We could even imitate all the audience members’ dance moves and all the quirky things about the video. Can’t believe it’s here now on RUclips. Amazing.

I'm quite prepared to say that Sting is the best bass player ever, Stewart is the best drummer ever and Andy is the best chordal riff guitarist of all time! Add into that Sting's great voice and amazing songwriting and you have THE POLICE!

As a STING's fan I suggest MARK KING ( LEVEL 42 ) I prefer STING as a composer instead of a bass player. STEWART is a drumskiller and ANDY is Mr. Chord as a guitar player. My point of view.

This was shot at two shows in Atlanta with the best of each edited together. I was at one of them and it was amazing. Much better than the video in which directors Godley and Creme tried to get in the way as much as possible.

I went to this concert on Christmas eve in Brighton UK.. fantastic night. I'll never forget sting's multi coloured tailed jacket. Christmas trees in a line at the back, sting had a trampoline and used it while playing his base.❤ I didn't realise how lucky i was.

I have seen Sting live and he is a monster even in his 50’s, 60’s and now 70’s. But on a different note-Copeland is regarded as one the great drummers but I’m still convinced these people still havent seen him play live because that’s still an understatement

For me, before The Police there was no music .. Sorry to say. Uniqness, professionalism, quality meaningfull songs, , just living legends. They made brilliant music in a unique style.

Proud to say I saw them on this tour twice! Also saw them once when they toured Ghost In The Machine. This was the hottest band back in the day and rightfully so. They easily stack up against the acts of today. Serious musicians for sure.

I was at this show - I was sitting up in the section behind Stewart Copeland. They also played "Murder By Numbers" but somehow it never made it to the final cut I guess. Oh, and The Fixx opened the show! Ticket price was 15 bucks.

They played it but theres no video of it online :( also not on their official live album of the concert. Either its a mistake and they never played it on this concert or its been scrubbed/never seen. They played it on this tour though.
