Absolutely amazing, well done at explaining everything. God bless the men and women who built this beautiful country we call home. God bless America 🇺🇸 our home sweet home
Greetings from Amsterdam!
And the indigenous peoples we stole from to build upon
It was just men who built that building, bud.
@@Diazlsx07 you must have never heard of Emily Warren Roebling

Brook bridge is so iconic, and the views of lower manhattan from the bridge is unmatched
I am so impressed by the history of this project and the courage of its builder that I hope I will be able to see this bridge up close. I will try to get a closer look at it
Very interesting history 👍
A pray 🙏 for all the lives lost during construction 🕊️
The engineers back then are on a different level; everything was hand drawn and visualized in there head. Plus everything was hand calculated, compared to now we; have all kind of computer simulation software.
Very impressive. Both the bridge and the presentation of the video.
Amazing history of Brooklyn Bridge 👏👏👏
Well done video
America's first mega-project was actually the transcontinental railway. 3000 miles coast to coast built 20 years earlier than the Brooklyn Bridge.
I can really respect Washington for working with them . I cannot say much more cause this the only video I seen about him and the bridge but seems like a boss I would work for
Very well done video, I went to NYC last week and see the bridge in person it’s amazing experience!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for each contribution each life we say thanks for your drvotion
This is one reason Roebling was the best bridge builder in the World ! The Brooklyn Bridge is more famous , than its older sister (16 years older) , but she is still a beauty to the Cincinnati area residents . They know theyre about home when she pops into view at the bottom of "The Cut in the Hill" !
Amazing! 👏
I can't believe the bridge was built in the 19th century.
I am from India ❤

I came after watching the Short about Caissons
I hope you liked it and the video didn’t disappoint
Walked this bridge in 2012 9pm on a weekend. Came up the stairs brooklyn we seen a bum pissing on the subway wall entrance and got the he'll back to Manhattan
❤❤❤
Decent video
Your short brought me here and it didn't disappoint!
Also what is the name of the music you used in this video?
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's not really music. It's not a song, it's just "ambient sound".
One has to wonder how he convinced the local government to do this project.
"The Brooklyn Bridge is America's most iconic structure"
*The Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, Hoover Dam, Empire State Building, Pentagon, Chrysler Building, White House and Hollywood Sign all need to have a word with you in private.*
The Gilded Age brought me here
How about that railway line from the west coast to the east or the telegraph line same place? Don't these classify as mega projects? Damn sure I would not want to pay for them. Oh and more importantly they came before a freaking bridge.
The Wires for the Brooklyn Bridge were NOT defective!
this helps explain the usa open border policies. cheap, ignorant labor.
