- Couldn't find this on RUclips already so thought I'd stick it on here. Taken from the DVD of Rob Brydon and Julia Davis' BBC2 show "Human Remains". These are some of the initial character improvisations, most of which make Julia Davis crease up!
No copyright infringement intended. Just sharing this as it's very, very funny. - Приколы
The talent here is incredible.
Seeing Julia Davis breaking down in laughter is such a treat.
I would argue that Human Remains is the best thing Rob Brydon and Julia Davis have ever done.
Agree. It’s so good.
You just know they’d completely nail an impression of Kate & Gerry McCann
Her eyes behind those glass....wickedly funny!
(I'm a specky four eyes myself and still find it hilarious)😂
Julia Davis is a comic genius.
Julia Davis! Why won't my brain allow me to remember her name?
Great chemistry. Did they?
Course they did
She's an extraordinary talent. Nighty Night and Camping (sic) plus her cameos in Little Britain. Her writing is on par with Dorothy Parker.
12:27-"while staples are being driven into him..." Julia's reaction is one of the best things ever.
that thumbs up Rob gives when he hits upon the proposal time is great
This is the most wonderful insight into two modern comic geniuses going through the creative process.
I’ve bought the DVD of Human Remains THREE times now as I’ve lent it out and lost it twice - it’s that good. It’s about as good as dark, character-based comedy gets. David and Brydon are in my top five fantasy pub mates - just brilliant. (And twisted, obviously.)
Same here! This started so many copycats but none can compare. Every self contained episode is genius. I will not be without this or Nighty Night! 2020 still loving it! My dad passed in April & we were laughing about this series beforehand & we were in fits! Grateful to Julia & Rob eternally. Unsurpassed, for me.
I ended up buying the dvd to, looks like they had a scream making it and every episode is a gem...pure genius ♠️
Sounds mental to say but Brydon's "opinionated welsh lad" and "dim valleys boy" accent is perfect.
The Louise Woodward bit with Imran Khan as a punchline is fucking outrageous 🤣
They are both just the best ... So bloody talented 😍
Rob Brydon is a comedy genius ❤ I just realised this on seeing this and the TV with Steve Coogan.
Julia is a genius
OMG [sighs] isn't Julia Davis gorgeous, especially when she laughs...
What a writing duo these two made. How come they only worked on one series together that no one knows of, but Gavin & Stacey has limped on for so long?
Completely agree. Not sure if she had the right promotions / agent / PR team behind them both. As compared to others, they really blow houses down. As we know it's who you know. Not what you know. Miss such humour. Guessing that the Leftist police are not their fans. You aren't allowed to be controversial anymore.
he's really handsome!
Comedy greats in the process of creating works of genius.
watched this three times and laughed every time, thanks for uploading
Genius! I recommend for anyone who might not have seen it yet, is Julia Davis Nighty night. I think most on here have already seen it. I'm jealous of those yet to watch it as I still remember the first time I saw it and the tears of laughter it brought & still does years later. "Hiya Cath". Classic.
Yes, Nighty Night is brilliant. I had a couple of dates with a woman who would always greet me - "How's You?". It reminded me of the awful Jill so much that I couldn't carry on seeing her...
"Linder".
This is the funniest thing I have seen in 20 years.
First time viewing for me. What a treat. Thank you.
Stumbled upon this by accident after seeing Julia Davis on the recent TV comedy "Camping". She's amazing!!! & Rob is too! Thanks for uploading this.
If you don't know "Nighty night" you're in for a treat!
Julia has one wicked sense of humour!
He's very good at being deadpan
this is brilliant!
LOL any dog we've ever had is shit scared to walk with a limp, cuz he knows the minute he does BANG goodnight
Experts at work. Superb.
She's gorgeous!
They're so talented the characters and accents are spot on brilliant their barking mad personalities go together just brilliantly what a wonderful sick partnership love them
Yes, I know what a parking meters are!
How fun must it have been to work on this
Absolutely brilliant
such great talents
The Louise Woodward stuff is so niche but so so funny.
Watch camping trip written by Julia Davis.
The flat they're in here was originally owned by the great Kenneth Williams.
I've just been listening to Rob's autobiog - it's actually the flat upstairs from Kenneth Williams' flat.
@@lynne4090He could have still owned it as well!?!
Binged Nighty Nighty and Sally4ever recently and now this, watched it 4 times in 24 hours its still so funny.
Best writing team eva. Just continue together. Please? x
💯👋👋👋💯🙏
love them
Rob sounds just like Hugh Grant with a posh English accent
rob really mogging julia here
Brilliant
Geniuses.
I've been out of the UK for over 30 years so I only found out about 'Human Remains" yesterday when Julia done an interview with Rob. I can't believe I missed this all these years, was this before Nighty Night? The only thing I didn't like about Nighty Night was the husband with cancer. Rob Brydon should have played that pasrt.
I have Human Remains on dvd. Classic. Loved the first series of nighty night but found the second series a bit too crude and wasn't as subtle.
Thanks for the heads up about the new interview with these two: ruclips.net/video/qtsV9T6qubo/видео.html
Good to see Keith and Marian got back together :D
this must've been when rob brydon got that hair transplant
Amazing :o)
Rob has a brilliant brummie accent
I feel so sorry for Barne!
I have such a weird bonk on.
My dream would be to work with these two….. just for one day. If I died (a not slow or painful death though) the day later, I’d be happy as Larry Lamb 🐑
What does Lee Mack have to do with this show? Everybody is mentioning him in the comments, is it an inside joke? (I haven't seen the show yet)
Jeez...for the life of me I couldn't remember what this series was called!
But will I ever forget thrm practicing for their First Dance - Never😅
Spinderlaro*😂😂
*excuse the spelling
in da viddual. hahaha
Genius.
Poor Barnstaple. 😂
How come Julia Davis looks very YOUNG in this, but very thin and old in the actual show? It was like two completely different people.
Julia Davis
the big G 😛 lol
He looks like Ben miller in first bit
She looks like kim wilde when she laughs
*J A M*
I've got the dvd but can't find this video on it. Can someone help? :)
I got the dvd too, but these early outtakes aren't on it.
Were they dating each other? This looks like a couple goofing off with a video camera.
Don't think so. Think Rob was married at the time. Just great friends and colleagues
Such a great actor, Rob Brydon. As much as I enjoy him on game shows etc it is a bit of a waste of talent. I wonder if he'll look back on his career and think, 'Fuck...' Although he is loaded, which will soften the blow, a bit, but still.
Ironic that Coogan, at least in The Trip, was always bangin on about him bein the proper actor, when Rob is different class.
I'm sure people will say I'm thick, but I can't find anything funny in this at all😮
Not thick just different humour.
Just an exaggeration of English couples.
