- Even though The Game's 15 year anniversary was last month I thought it would be a perfect time to post an edit because the reboot premiered on HBO Max this month. I terribly miss Melanie and Derwin's presence and it's sad we won't see them together in the reboot however I'm grateful that we can relive these hilarious and beautiful moments between the two. Derwin is such a great actor I want to see him in more movies and shows
I seen an interview he did saying he got blacklisted or something like that because he wanted more pay and started looking for work while still doing the show. I think he said it was BET that did him wrong and he wasn’t able to get work after. Check it out.

I heard he’s supposed to be back on season 2 of the reboot.
I like this couple. They were what made "The Game" such a beautiful CW series.
They were so toxic 😂. I loved their chemistry but I didn't like how the writers wrote their relationship
@@Daf029 that was kinda the nature of the show tho. Just about every relationship was on The Game was toxic. While Derwin & Melanie had their share of toxic moments, they actually proved to be the most healthy and stable couple on that show in the long run.
@@coreyrowe4119Yea after Melanie went back to John Hopkins and had kids. There were healthy relationships in the show though. Just not a lot of them.

@@coreyrowe4119 Melanie and Jerome despite her cheating on him,it was wrong but he never knew until she broke up with him. He genuinely liked Melanie. If she wasn't so hooked to Derwin it could've went somewhere. But I also liked Tasha and Rick. No relationship is perfect but they had decent relationships in my opinion

In my opinion Melanie had her issues but majority of the time she was a good gf. Derwin was the one that was a hypocrite. Didnt want her having guy friends but had a whole affair with Drew. When Melanie broke up with him is when it really became toxic. It got worse when Melanie found out Janay was pregnant. She harrassed her for no reason. Derwin was never satisfied so he kept playing with Janays feelings and proposed to Mel. She should've never married him. She could've stayed with Jerome 😂
😂Their relationship was beyond toxic. The wedding was a bad sign in my opinion. Who tf would get married while their man is having another woman's baby and your wedding is ruined with the baby being born on your wedding day. I know Melanie and Derwin weren't together but it got worse

Well she did get pregnant in season 2 after her and derwin broke up and the father of the child was trey wiggs but even though she was with trey wiggs she loved derwin still so she aborted the baby which later caused her pregnancy issues but derwin and her had twins on the series finale🎉so it worked out Tasha even jokes and says your uterus does work😂and then Kelly says you win over Janae you the wife and have a baby basically saying you got the ring girl 😂
