ANA GUTIERREZ...stop looking for someone to save you...stop complaining that others have hurt you...the world is not Disneyland...the world is a place where suffering and pain exists...on top of all the physical stresses of life and knowing you will die there will also be people who purposely hurt you...don't give up instead take action yourself instead of waiting for others to help you or waiting for others to be nice to you...Get regular exercise...eat healthy...and meditate routinely everyday. Surround yourself with positive people and avoid the negative ones...Finally find someway to give back to society in a way that you value. If you do these things most of your problems will go away and a better life will take its place.

We don't appreciate happiness until we are unhappiness. When I say happiness, I don't mean excitement, but a restful mind, a body free of ache and pain, life is flowing, routine, orderly, and all of our needs are met. Do you realize how many people don't have that?
I am blessed and fortunate to say that my life is what I just described.

I have never seen it as escaping from the world but a specific individual's manner of staying afloat in it.
For them, it's their life preserver. Those actively in the world also have life preservers but may not see it as such. But that's what it is.
And we are all trying to stay afloat- some in healthy ways and some in unhealthy ways.😉

You can show up but there won't be guarantee that you'll have a place to stay. The proper way is to call or email and arrange your stay there. Plus, corona might have impacted their schedules and procedures as well.

The monk that was negative towards you, he was probably was there to test your bodhi heart, which means your heart towards the Buddha, the Dhamma, the Sangha see how still and strong is it.
Like a great old tree, it's old but the body of it, is very strong, no wind can harm or destroy it, likewise, your bodhi heart is like a great old tree, and the negative actions of that particular monk is like a great wind, but the important thing is if you pass the test, your bodhi heart is still alive and not destroyed.
      Practice more to pass it.
