  • This is by far the most effort I've ever put into going to a show, but Gracie Abrams is also one of my favorite artists, so of course, it was worth it. I got to the Roxy at 1:30pm to make sure that I'd get a good spot, and the wait definitely paid off. Gracie's show was one of the best of my life, and since I had such an incredible spot, I took tons of photos and videos to give you a taste of the show if you couldn't make it out to see Gracie live on the I Miss You I'm Sorry Tour!
Let me know in the comments how long you've waited in line for a concert!

Hii do you have the full performance of Rockland?

I don't unfortunately. I always take videos of the first halves or parts of songs and then try to turn my phone off and enjoy the rest in the moment which unfortunately means I rarely get a full video

how early would you realistically recommend getting there for an 8:00 show? :)

It's really hard because it so depends on the artist and the individual fanbase in that city. For instance, people started lining up for Gracie at 11AM, and I was 8th at 2PM and I would say it started to pick up much more around 4PM for her Roxy show, but it wasn't like that everywhere.
Whereas other shows I've been to, I got there at 5PM and there were anywhere from 3 to 20 people in front of me and some where there have been at least 100.
Most shows that start at 8pm I'll try to get there a little after 5PM or 5:30PM or around then and end up barricade or a few rows back, but it really just depends on whether you have the time and energy to spend 3-5 hours sitting outside usually in direct sun or cold not really being able to move before you do an additional couple hours of waiting inside the venue.
For Gracie's next tour, it's really hard to say because she does have a super dedicated fanbase that has mostly come from other fandoms with a strong line-up culture. If it's top, top priority for you to get barricade, I would go around 3pm (but you have to keep in mind that now she's selling VIP soundcheck so they will probably get priority entry and possibly put even the most dedicated fans a few rows back. You have to generally account for that and decide if such a long wait would still be worth it). Personally, for my next Gracie show that starts at 8pm, I'll probably get there much closer to doors around 6 or 6:30, but I'm setting myself up for a very different experience.
