The south korean cookie was extremely misleading because the guys were absolutely right -- they're extremely popular in Japan! Even the 2nd one is also very Japanese! The box has Japanese writing on it!
Also I think the hippo cookies are available all over Europe, they are a kinder product and 100% availably domestically in the UK, also the first item has been availably in the UK for decades.
Not very surprisingly, they are also available in Germany. Kinder is literally kids or children in Germany and the products are manufactured in Germany and Italy. But Ferrero, the company behind it, is Italian.

Well, the Kinder brand is from the italian company Ferrero, but the Hippos were first released in Germany. They are produced in Germany and Italy, so they are technically both. But either way, they are damn great!

The boxes are in Japanese sure. But if you google the origin of each snack you will see they come from Korea. I guess it was just easier/ cheaper to get these versions for the show.
