Whitney is so unkind. He's been dealing with this all on his own. Hope Sam gives it to her straight and reminds Whitney it's not about her. It's about Zack. It's understandable she'd initially react worried thinking she might have HIV and Peach might have had it but once Zack explained that she was in the clear and that Peach's death was not caused by it, she should have taken a moment to think and appreciate how hard that must have been for Zack to tell her that and be supportive. Poor Zack.
So good Eastenders are showing good information about HIV. It's astonishing and fantastic to see how different it is now.
To know that people who are HIV positive can not only go on to lead a normal fulfilling life; not pass the virus onto others AND to also be able to have their own children and not pass the virus onto their child.
Researchers, doctors and scientists are amazing!

To be fair she’s had a lot to deal with lately. Losing her child now learning that she’s got a high probability of being HIV+ and he kept it from her. She needed to know as soon as he found out.
I really hope Zack can start to move forward in his life now. And that Sam can be a really good friend to him. ❤
How can you even get hiv from a needle anyway. And why can’t Zac and Sam get together they would make a good couple in my opinion
@@scarletyoung6053 blood residue I suspect. If you go in far enough with a needle you can draw blood. HIV is transmitted through blood if not through sex.
Sex, Needle Sharing and getting blood on a cut are ways to contract HIV.

You can get through blood , like blood transfusion needles just educate yourself
@@scarletyoung6053 You can get HIV from a needle stick because when the needle goes in blood cells enter the shaft of the HIV positive persons needle, containing the virus, person B takes said needle and injects too and the virus is passed along. And they were together before and didn't work out

Whitney is p***ing me off! Everything is about her yet again. She doesn't care about anyone's feelings but her own. OK he had a momentary freak out in the beginning, but given the situation its understandable. He was going to tell her, but then she told him about the babys health. Instead of worrying about himself he put aside his fears and how it was affecting his mental health to be there for her and Peach.
And to say he isnt good enough is a massive kick in the face, i mean what a way to make someone feel like crap and less than when they are that vulnerable. It reminds me of Peggy's reaction to Mark back in the day, only worse. Zack is a lovely guy and has really grown since meeting his sister and he truly deserves better.
I have serious physical health problems. So I suffer with my mental health a lot... (to give a little context Ive had sepsis 3 times, countless infections, operations and joint replacements, have been in hospital 26 times in the last 12 years. All because i have severe arthritis and have to be on chemo to lower my immune system to treat it... that f**ks with my head. I'm in constant pain, depressed and anxious all of the time...) i used to snap at my family, I would pick fights, shout, cry and constantly wonder why me? why not them? ... But then i learned that i can't take my anger out on people, its not their fault im ill, they have done nothing wrong and it was unfair of me to treat them like they were to blame. Its kind of the same here with Whitney. She needs serious therapy, she cant keep bringing her emotional baggage to every relationship and using that against the new guy she is with. Thats on her, its not Zacks fault bad things have happened to her. He isn't Callum or Lee or Woody or Tony or anyone else from her past.
I feel for Whitney but she has to understand he's grieving too. Grieving over losing THEIR kid AND dealing with the fact he has HIV. He still puts her first and she throws it in her face. I understand she's in pain but Whitney's ego is bigger than the sun. It's not all about her. She needs to do better, probably some therapy because she ALWAYS brings up her past relationships. Took alot of courage for Zack tell her about the HIV. I usually have time for Whit, but her recent behaviour towards Zack has been abhorrent.

Whitney claims to love Zack but she’s been nothing but awful to him. She doesn’t listen to him or give a crap about how he’s dealing with anything.
Ironically it's similar to how she treated Lee which contributed more into his declining mental health back then.

I absolutely hate the comments that are saying that Whitney is making it all about her. Zack should've told her from the beginning that he had HIV even if it was difficult. Then she would've gotten herself tested and to see if there was anything wrong with Peach, then maybe it would've prepared her and Zack for the worst. Why Whitney took him back I will never know. People are saying Zack deserves better, Whitney deserves better too.

I may like Whitney, but I have to admit. She is ungrateful on this scene. She is making this all about her. She is only concern for her baby and herself, but not for Zack. How can't she not being so supportive towards Zack, rather than yelling at him. I've been waiting for this moment with Zack to be honest with Whitney. I've did thought she will understand. But clearly, she doesn't.
If I was Zack, I would tell her like this.
"This is ain't just about you Whitney. You're the not the only one who is grieving here. I am grieving too. I have had lost our baby too. Me having HIV has got nothing to do with Peach. After I've heard about you being pregnant, I was shocked and terrified that I wasn't sure if I ever be good enough to be a dad. You wouldn't imagine how I been through. I'm sick and tired of you pushing me away, when I needed you the most. You only care is yourself and always have to make everything about yourself too. You're a ungrateful woman I've met and I thought I could trust you to understand, but clearly you don't. I swear to you, we ain't going to be together as a relationship. Not ever. I don't want to be anything to you anymore. It's best you and I should stay away from each other, do you got that?"
So yeah, even though I do like Whitney sometimes. But sometimes Whitney always like to make such drama, for everyone. That same thing for Stacey (who is also my favourite), but she can be the same thing too, sometimes. Depends on her character. Really. And yes, I know it's not real or anything, but still, we can allow to share our thoughts, facts and opinions. 🙂

i understand her initial anger; the point of a relationship is to be open and honest but she's not taking into account how it's changed a lot for him too. it's all just a mess and i do hope they can work through it.

Tbf depending how long he’s had it (unknowingly or otherwise) and how often they did the do unprotected, she has every right to be as upset as she is. Even a temporary STI like Chlamydia can cause infertility in women if left untreated.
After that Reaction i dont think it was worth telling her if she gunna act like that thats a tell sign she aint and was never worth it
I think they both have made mistakes here. Whitney's initial reaction makes sense. Zack told Sam to get tested. He wouldn't tell the person carrying his child.
Equally, Whitney will make this all about her again. She needs to take a moment to understand how Zacks's life has changed. It's poor communication.

I'm not sure why Whitney is coming in for such hate. He put her at risk and didn't disclose his status for months on end.
He didn't know 100% she wasn't infected. Crucial time could have been lost to get her medicated and get arrest the infection's development.
The script Gods have deemed it that she is not HIV+ but it could have easily gone the other way with him playing a deeply irresponsible role

Why do eastenders give Whitney so many storylines again and again, there are other characters, is she a fan favourite or something, because I just find her so annoying more now than before.

@@madelinebryson because its still a chronic illness you have to take 1 pill a day for life and when people like myself a straight hiv positive bloke sometimes when we get a cold or something we get it 2 times worse than average person so it's wise to tell family members and close friends that's what I did anyways.. But I can not pass it on sexully or any other way because my viral load is undetectable because of my meds I can never pass it on.. That's the best way I can describe it.. God bless 🤗🙏💯
@@madelinebryson He was told to tell everyone that he slept with before he was diagnosed to get tested because he wasn't taking any medication then. Once his medication reduces his viral load to undetectable levels, he will no longer be able to pass it on.

i really hope they don't put them together again, she got a sulk on cuz he didn't kiss her back... after how she's treated him since peach died.. pushed him away etc it's not just about her, he's done everything with her in mind and she shoves it in her face everytime.
