It's so good to see this dude skating again. Ever since I first started seeing clips of him I just had a feeling this guy could become one of the best to ever do it. I'm excited to see his future play out. Congrats bro. Especially for performing for your home crowd. It's a lot harder than some may think to perform in that type of scenario
So glad to see someone win; skating in the OG style (doing fat flip tricks over gaps). Competitive skateboarding has become flip trick/spin in to grind flip/spin out. At first that type of skating was new and mind blowing, but now it has become overused although tricks may be extremely difficult... However, the fat air flip tricks have a danger factor and higher impact that is unmatched
Same as with Gustavo’s tre flips, I think variety should play more of an impact in scoring. He had 4.5 different hardflip variations (Hardfip back lip, hardflip late fs 180 attempt, hardfip late bs 180, hardfip back nosegrind, and a bonus .5 for nollie backside flip).
That was amazing. Just so the world knows all those tricks are his go to he didn't just say what should I throw down With exception of the hard flip' nose grind are his go to tricks he does a lot.
It’s crazy that the skaters from the country that hosts have a tendency to win Street League in that country! Especially when the scoring and even rules seem to be top secret. Not that he doesn’t rip and has been robbed by bias scoring in the past, it’s just strange how it happens over and over again.
Not only is Aurelian a great name. After skating for years he is my favorite. Even before this. His steez and catches not just the ghetto bird but everything. Awesome man, just amazing.
They seem to love doing this despite dozens of comments every time. I wonder how many people don’t bother watching the full event having had the winner ruined like we just did.
@@write-onlyWell maybe just a component. I feel both of above mentioned express more determination than the rest of the SLS participants. Even if they don't always land their attempts. Subjective matter, sure.

@@TheRealShrimplyP I know i just haven't seen him compete or put out a street part in a while.
Jesus loves you! He died for you! He’s the way, the truth, and the life! Repent and trust him!❤️🔥

This dude skates with power. The other OG stylers just don't have as much power or consistency.
Hammmmers we wana see that
good to see power scoring highly next to flip grind flip tricks

Not many other do hardflips. I feel it's cool he does as they look sick.
He is a beast. So fun to watch.
Idk if that handtouch deserves a 9.2 but either way love this dude congrats
no handtouch ever deserves a 9 tbh
I thought the same.
9.2 should be without handtouch
@@GustavoAmaro 100%
It would have been worthy of a 9.8 without the touch. 9.2 seems fair to me.
Watching with my earphones in and the crowd screaming nearly blew my ear drums out… That was an epic win!
About time this guy won- he’s a monster!!
Prime example of the definition of shredding gnar 🤙🤙🤙
Well deserved, he is really a powerful skater.
Houston is BIG MAD.

Bravo .
For years now I've always thought this dude was the best in the world. He's right there with Nyjah. Insanely good.
yeah, he's definitely one of the top 10 best skateboarders, so is Nyjah and Shane O'Neil
Nyjah and Shane are getting old. Not a lot of years left
He’s a beast. New nick name matter of fact….”BEAST FROM THE EAST”
hell ya brother much love from canada huge fan!
Hardflip back lip looks insane!
Hard flip nose grind was mental
@@josepreciadocortes8224shoulda been more than 9.1 🤷♂️
Love seeing people that not only stick to the rails every single trick wins.
Dude is so sick! Super happy for him

If Joslin was most consistent and technical, it would be Aurelien
Duno bout the hand touch
Would have been a much lower score for anyone else.
@@Peanut.Butter.Runner agree home town advantage
Bravo aurelien!
Dude is crazy good
Yessss.
Dude has the best hard flips
This is not his "hometown crowd", Aurelien is from LYON!
Awesome!
That Ghetto Bird is so steez! 🔥
Massive!

Did anyone else notice Chaz Ortiz sitting in the crowd?
Hardflip frontside.flip frontside ??
Nah that hand touch
Mannn why the spoiler title!? Thx for the vid tho

It is SLS France - who do you think they are going to let win? Shouldn't be a surprise.
is the hardflip his go to trick or something
Yup
Home turf help …obvious ,still excellent performance
❤🎉
The European Joslin
Way to spoil the event I just added to my watch list 🎉
It was clear he'd do a hard flip or 360 something.
It's like someone told Nyjah he's not allowed to win anymore
Thanks for the spoiler :(

It's called Ghetto Bird.
Best tricks (hand touch) but not best style, he deserved it (?) but his style is a little robotic without expression
Funny, I feel his style is only matched by joslin. Fast and high

Hand touch = 9?
first is the worst
Spoiler alert? Guess I wont watch this now lol
The spoiler came when it was announced this event was in France.
Sls so rigged wtf
seriously. almost comical now
lots of player being rob, common trick with no style and got 9C,i will never like SLS again.
