Hey man great video, would love to see a RP simple training template review as it has the same spirit as this program! Sometimes the simplest things are the best, sometimes the best are the one you can actually stick to.
I have both programs - in my opinion, the two programs take different approaches: Jeff Nippard by training to muscle failure - RP Simple Plan compensates for muscle failure by increasing volume. So I wouldn't say that one program is better or worse - it's more a question of which one suits the trainee better. Personally (!), the only thing I find is that Jeff Nippard's program falls significantly short on the legs.
If you review programs again, there currently isn't a single review on Renaissance Periodization Simple Training Template, which I think is really interesting considering how big they are. Would love to hear your thoughts on it! Hope all is well!
Hi. I want to do the 3 day essentials program. My question is what is a good app (iPhone) that i can easily load each days workout in to follow along at the gym, exercise reps and weight I achieved?
The only one I have experience with is the RP Hypertrophy app, but it's a bit expensive. It will keep track of your weights, reps, and sets and make recommendations on progression for you though. You can also customize your workout and add sets or other things where needed.
Great review. I have all of the Essentials Programs as I did the pre-order. I started with the 2 day split to ease myself back into lifting, and I really enjoyed it. In fact, towards the end, I really wanted to lift more, and I took that as a good sign that it helped me with burnout and increased my motivation. Not to mention, I did see progress. I'd love to see you do a review on Jeff Nippard and Stephanie Buttermore's Women Specialization Program.
