I gotta say, as a new player to rocket league and a 10+ year veteran of LoL i find this comunity to be amazing xD How can they be so salty over a demo that last 3 seconds during a 5-7 min game, they would implode if they ever played LoL where you can get targeted by the enemies too, but it'll have consequences for the next 30-40 min not just 5min. Amazing content, entertaining and honestly as a new player I learn quite a few things just from watching you play! gl hf

It's because how destabilizing is having one less player on the field. If anything it speak about how much competitive Rocket League is when a mere bump or a demo can create the exact 3 second window opening needed for scoring, while in a game like LoL the kills matter, but their impact is still less with how the rest of the game is layout and the time you get before the enemy advances. Imagine if Everytime you get killed you lost one tower, that's a fair comparison to Rocket League

I agree but I’m fairness I had my first toxic experience with someone demoing. They were literally driving the whole way round the map getting big boosts and occasionally demoing. Did nothing for the team and they lost. It didn’t take any skill haha
Yeah to be good at a demo you almost need to build a mechanic of gameplay just for this, and switch to the ball focus when u dont want to demo , its not just camera and boost

Some opponent's I can just full on demo chase and can win easily, while others I may not be able to go for a single demo. All about adjusting in real time.

I was kinda looking up to SSG and tried to coordinate the randoms around my demos and bumps, it worked well giving them open nets. The problem was the 1 week break that slowed my pace, now it's harder for me to demo.
Blue was just a normal French cat litter salesman until his family was brutally demod. The perpetrator was never brought to justice and left unbanned by psyonixs. Thus beginning his transition and downfall into his toxic ways. What a saving his way from France to America to terrorize the country that demod his family.
Yesterday I got exterminator on a match, the guy was writing full essays and complaining how I came for him when he couldn't see and he lost it when I said back "Dude, you can bind a key to watch behind you" and I swear he almost came swinging back with his own version of that copypasta "what the fuck did you said to me boy???" That was fun, my partner was missing open nets out of laughter
When I have a bad ranked day I just watch some woody videos, try to replicate it not even close to as good as you but the people get just as mad which makes my day better

This is a Diamond 2 with Champ 2 game sense and Bronze 3 mechanics talking. So... maybe it isn't a compliment. But I meant it as one. And once again big props to your editor (I see you Retselm)
LOL, I play a lot like this. A good demo strat I use is. When I see them going for an air dribble I don't even challenge the ball. I just demo them, the ball drops to my teammate and a lot of times I can demo the last guy. I also like to demo players rotating back when they flip because flipping forces you in a direction.
you said it right.. flipping, low boost, going for saves, and overall predicting their movements. some players especially when they're tilted already becomes even easier to demo

I've encountered my fair share of demo/bump players and I know when they're not good, a bit of awareness, tapping the brakes or jumping is enough to counter. You can tell they don't know how to use it properly. So yeah, demoing is hard and it takes practice, also brains. I just can't believe people are mad for something that it's part of the game!
