    The Collection v7 is amazing. Every legendary synth I could only dream of using. right there. It blows my mind. The CMI was so out of reach to almost everybody. Thanks, Arturia, for this.

      So true. VSTs in general blow my mind. But getting these kind of legends on a laptop!? 🤯

    Thank you for producing this series of tutorials concerning the CMI V. They are comprehensive and it´s easy to follow your steps. A good base to start with. Enjoy your day! Rolf Kasten

    I believe the CMI was a great inspiration to Synthesiser Patels' work on the "Liquinth"

    I can´t belive what I'm seeing. Incredible instrument and insane value. Take my money, damn it! One question, not that I'm complaining at all, but shouldn't the CMI include an option in the channels to sample directly from it?

    2.00 this is not a complete list of the sounds, these are more like performances that you would find in a synthesizer that are made up of all the available sounds/samples that you can’t get to from this page, you get to the complete list of sounds when you go in to the sound or mixer page and that’s where you can build one of these “performances”

    How to translate that scale/global tuning to Hz? It looks like advanced math rather then easy setting....🤔

  • @anthonyclarke2250
    @anthonyclarke2250 6 лет назад

    The only function I wish they would add is the ability to go back to the first sequencer pattern when a key is struck. The original didn't do it, so I supposed they were trying to be as close to the original as possible.

    • @keybeardist
      @keybeardist 5 лет назад

      Or the ability to map pattern changes to notes or controllers would be nice. Not sure how you do it in the original either.

    Hello, is there a way to route/record a pattern from CMI V sequencer as a midi track directly to DAW, e.g Logic or Reason?

    • @alainsellier7751
      @alainsellier7751 2 года назад +1

      Unfortunetly Arturia doesnt provide the midi drag and drop like UVI instruments has.

  • @EverettDudgeon138

    Can each sound have it's own midi channel? For example could I use CMI V's sequencer to sequence additional external gear via midi?

    • @rynoufle
      @rynoufle 7 лет назад +1

      you can import your own samples if they last less than 30sec. You can also adjuste the bitdepth so you can have 8bit resolution

    I sure hope the actual quality of what's on the gui screen is way better than what is shown in this video. All the aplhanumeric characters are choppy looking - worse than video game quality.

    • @tomasmulcahymusic
      @tomasmulcahymusic 7 лет назад +2

      Ya, just like the real thing! It's fine.

    • @musicman8942
      @musicman8942 7 лет назад +1

      After I posted about this on the Arturia forum I got a response from one of the Arturia people and they say the gui is just fine; they made reference to the fact that even the lettering in the daw Glen is using is the same way. So it's either Glen's monitor that is crappy or something that RUclips is doing. Either way it doesn't do anything to sell the s/w and makes it painful to watch the videos.

    • @PantaFlux
      @PantaFlux 7 лет назад

      The text in the OS menu bar of this video is chopped up the same way, so it’s definitely a video resolution/conversion issue. The real GUI uses fonts that are easy on the eye.
