Wow! I gave birth to four children in America and never not once received this type of treatment! There would be no such thing as postpartum depression if all hospitals treated moms this way. I seen your other video saying you received an aroma therapy massage while you were there, the extended stay you had and all the great treatment and pampering you received and if that would happen in America we wouldn’t have tragic cases of mothers hurting their newborns due to postpartum depression. American hospitals and birthing facilities need to take notes! This is exactly how giving birth and how new moms should be treated. I don’t agree with not being allowed to have epidurals or pain management while in labor bcuz so many women lose their lives during birth bcuz it’s just too much pain for some bodies to handle but everything else looks amazing! Your a lucky girl!
おめでとうございます㊗️🎉🎊&新人お母さんお疲れ様です😊 So happy to see you’re both doing well. You’re positively glowing! And the baby’s cooing voice just melts my ❤. I thought the reimbursement covered the whole cost and then some but it might depend on the自治体 you live in.
It reminds me when I had a big surgery in Thailand. The hospital is a world class. Up until now it was the service and food i remembered the most. Congratulations once again Loretta and Boomer… xo
Wow that all looked amazing. My partner was in the hospital here in the US for 3 months and his food certainly did not look anything like this. I don't think I'll show him this video or he'll be jealous :)
The food in this video is like a 5 Star gourmet restaurant! Unless you’re an extremely wealthy member of the elite, you’d never find anything close to this in US hospitals! I’ve been in and out of the hospital my whole life in the US, and the food was always absolutely awful, sometimes inedible. And I’m not a picky eater. The “best” tasting things tasted like a bland cheap frozen off-brand microwave meal, unless it was something like canned soup (which they likely watered down some) or name brand cereal that came in little individual packages. The worst was sometimes more comparable to dog food. I rarely ate much of what the hospital served, and would just bring my own things to the hospital to snack on. Now I don’t really have to worry about that aspect, as I now have a feeding tube, which is honestly a major plus not having to worry about forcing myself to eat awful hospital food anymore. I hope your partner is doing better! My longest stay was for 2 months, and that was rough! It was difficult to acclimate to being home and being in the outside world again. Everything felt so foreign!
Wow! Having just got out of the hospital here in the US (Atlanta) about 3 weeks ago for a surgery, the food here was comparatively awful (usually cold, bland, and just generally unappetizing -- and I'm not even a particularly picky eater). Your food looked AMAZING, on the other hand!
Hold it, NO EPIDURAL? We did lamaze and breathing exercises, because she wanted a "natural birth". A hour into active labor. . . "ummm where's the epidural?" You are a champ Loretta, especially w/o Boomer. Labor is aptly named. It's no joke. So happy that you had a positive experience. God Bless your family.
Wait, is this a hospital or is Gordan Ramsey cooking for you off camera? Looks great! Of course I am kidding but I have seen documentaries in the past about how well women who have just given birth are treated post delivery at Japanese Hospitals. From memory, good food and plenty of rest are very important after the fact.
WOW!!! The Food was crazy! Much better then i get at home. BUT, I noticed you opted for NO Epidural - I know everyone's different but my Japanese wife wouldn't have "survived" the birth of our 3 kids without one.
Congratulations to your big beautiful family!! I opted for no epidural because I wanted a hospital that would allow my husband to be there but they changed the rules two weeks before I gave birth anyway... So it was all a crapshoot in the literal dark. Oh well! We made it! 🫣 Also, epidurals in Japan are nothing like in the west, it's not an add on to ease your currently underway labor, they force you into labor on a doctor's schedule, most of this pain being before said epidural. I didn't have the option but I still get furious thinking about how many times care and comfort only became available "if the doctor was there 9-5". It's like Japan never heard that babies are just not born that way.
@@kemushichan Oh wow so you can only give birth when the doctor is there and they force you into labor bcuz of that? That’s weird. Most women have babies in the middle of the night or early morning hours so that’s very weird. Everybody can’t have a natural birth and endure all that pain and some women have passed away during labor bcuz of the pain, actually many women have. I wonder why they don’t take that into consideration hmmmm. Is there a law that only limits women to give birth to only two babies in Japan? I heard something like this years ago and wondered if it’s still true.
@@sunkissed38queen89 I think it's this Japanese idea, and sort of human tendency, of an orderly society, forgetting that humans are still nature and nature can be chaotic.
I’m trying to learn Japanese I took a class and I still have my book. What is the best way to get better at speaking Japanese? I practice the words that I know but I’m having trouble making sentences in Japanese
8:32 "A lot happened at the hospital, but the food was by far one of my favorite perks." A lot happened? Like what? Hmmm...🤣 Anyway, that food looked great. Yum.
Would you get tired of being catered too and served three course meals everyday for a weeklong with massages? That’s a whole vacation! A person could get use to that type of living very quickly! Lol
It's always fun to watch. Please give me some time. There is an idol group called King&Prince in Japan. The total number of fan clubs is 950,000. Japan's biggest idol group. Although they are like that, I want the office to become a national star in Japan. They wanted to go global, so there was a rift. It has been decided that the group will be separated in May of next year. It's a great group, so I'd really like to get opinions from people around the world about things like dance. That way, your channel will have more Japanese subscribers. thank you.
You’re daughter is so gorgeous. So happy you had a seamless delivery ❤
Truly seamless¡!!! I'm still amazed at what this bod did.
That is some next level "hospital" food 😊

This is wonderful, beautiful and an amazing treat! Japan is a place to consider in the future for birth purposes.

That private clinic done stole all the culinary school graduates in Japan XD. Ay, I am craving some dessert now!
Might I recommend a parfait 😎👌
dang a 5 star restaurant in a hospital...i was waiting for gordon ramsay to come out. lol
amazing selection of music on your video Congrats on your new journey to mother hood !
Thank you!!! I actually spent way too much time picking the music hahahah
Watching this video was a mistake. I am so hungry now. Everything looks so good.
Do you have to eat everything or is it ok to leave some of it? I mean: would they find it rude?
This hospital kitchen really got their sh together fs
Oh wow umm this is like room service at a freaking luxury hotel/resort. Wow 😮
In the US, my kids were $24k, $25k, and $26k... thankfully mostly insurance covered. Not everyone is always so lucky.
😭omggggg. This is what we were anticipating in new York before we started wondering if we should just... Move 👀.
I'm sitting here thinking, "Geeze... that's hospital food!?" They spoiled you girl! 😂😂
7:07 the baby said what about me mom? Where's my dinner? 😆
Baby always goes first🤣🤣🤣🤣
But i may have to sneak a few bites first..
Feels like a five star restaurant. You know in America jello pudding ugh.
Whoa, that puts most hospitals to shame! Good nutrition leads to energy.
Everything looks so delicious ❤😍 I need to get something to eat 😊
Man... Here in the states they keep you for one day, throw a bill at you and then kick you out 😭
That is a wow... 😮 foods are awesome. Take care always there.. Kiss for cute baby 😘
