    We are going to be looping this course in with our other Group subjects!
    We just starting TGTB History Year 1 Unit 3 and it is basically a perfect preview for this course so we will finish that unit before pulling this one into our loop.

    Thank you for the flip-through, its such a beautiful book i don't think i would want to tear it apart. I order mine last week, looking forward to doing this unit.

      You are so welcome! And I agree it's so beautiful that I will definitely be reading into the activities to see if I can get away with leaving the pages IN the book like I do with the Science Units.

    I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the US Constitution. I just ordered it for my teen daughter and I cannot wait to dig deep into it. We are planning on doing it as a family. I saw a video of a homeschool mom (from TGTB company, if I’m not mistaken) explaining about it and that video made me feel comfortable about using the curriculum from this company.

      I was hesitant as well when I first heard it was coming out, but after watching the videos of them explaining and showing the content I felt a confirmation that yes my family needs this course. Flipping through it for this video solidified that for me!
      We've been doing it as a family and are loving it! 💖

    We finished year 2 history in our hkmeschool, and I can't wait to do this course with my 5th, 4th, and 1st graders!!!

      Awesome!! Are you going to also continue with Years 3 & 4 of history or are you waiting to see the new version of history from TGTB?

    My rising 4th grade daughter is BEGGING me to do this unit lol. I’m afraid a lot will be over her head but may do it anyway and we can revisit again a few years down the road. So hard to decide!! I know I would learn so much as well. Great flip through ❤.

      I would definitely do it while she's asking for it! From my experience if I wait until I feel it's a good time I often miss the interest window and then they respond to it as if they've never even had an interest and are no longer receptive to the material. She will absorb so much more now than she would if you miss the interest window 💓
      Most highschool requirements include a Government Class of some sort so you'll definitely circle back 😊

      Yay! Oh I have a short that shares a layout for lining up the activity book pages to lessons if you're using it! I'll link it in the description in case you're interested ☺️

    I love this unit. I have a young one just about to start first grade but i will definitely incorporate it later on when he is more mature❤ but as a homeschool mom, it's nice to learn along side him

    Is the course designed to be used 4 days a week?

    • @OnTheSamePageTogether
      @OnTheSamePageTogether  Год назад

      It's "designed" to be a once a week, year long study, but is flexible based on your family's needs. Here's what the About Page says:
      "With 32 lessons each intended to take approximately 45 minutes, this course is designed to be flexible. You can teach it to a large class of students or to only one child. You can teach one lesson a week for 32 weeks or twice a week for 16 weeks, using the second semester to study your state's history. If you need shorter class periods, each lesson can easily be split into two parts. This flexibility allows for the course to meet the needs of every family or class."
      As far as I can tell their goal with their group subjects is to allow you to teach your children a variety of subjects throughout the week in the same "time slot"
