- Papanari appeared in the first film (and he worked with Pony's mom, Cow Lady). Mominari appeared in the second film. The siblings didn't appear in the third film.
And here's the answer why Denki has little to no control over "his" quirk.
NOTE 1:
In "Boku no Hero Academia" world some kids are born already with quirks (examples: Present Mic and the Luminescent Baby). However, this happens quite rarely. And this is the fact why the parents were worried.
NOTE 2:
Denki's father is also known as Pro-Hero Electoplant in canon!

My head canon is that he’s secretly depressed
I don’t think he loses iq because technically your iq can never change unless you’ve experienced SEVERE brain injury, if he had a brain injury that bad he wouldn’t be able to be a hero and probably wouldn’t even be able to eat by himself. His quirk probably affects his memory though.
Plot Twist: He intentionally overuses his quirk to try and forget

Denki being quirkless at the beginning in this AU makes sense. Since he short circuits his brain isnt wired for an electricity quirk since birth, he only built that sub tolerance

I think in terms of Bakusquad that Denki needs a reveal backstory and honestly, I think this would fit pretty well. Deku, Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Bakugou, Jiro Kirishima have good driven motives to be heroes and I think something like this would also be a sad but great motive for Denki to be a hero in the show.
Denki is amazing and I adore his character so much as a whole. He's such a great guy with a good heart.

Plus, I think it'd be awesome if we'll get more backstories of other background characters (like Sero or Kendo from B class or Shishikura from Shiketsu)

I have bought that he would most likely have divorced parents but this AU is not just sad but it is extremely creative it makes so much of the subplots towards d
Denki's quirk and him not being able to control it, it would make so much sense. Also his baby brother and his twin sister are so cute. I WANNA HUG THEM! I blame the father for everything his family torn apart and his sister's disappearance/death.

Ok so remember how the letter Deku left explained that he was quirkless and all that stuff? What if Kami had read that and so he confessed to being quirkless as well when they were trying to get him back. Feel like Deku would've froze long enough to have Bakugo or Todoroki nab him

Él tenía hermanos, y uno de ellos tenia el quirk de electricidad, pero era un bebé, entonces denki se lo quedó (el quirk) y en consecuencia se murió, tenía otro hermano que fue con su padre al extranjero, y está desaparecido, muy probablemente muerto, en resumen, la vida de denki antes de que entrara a la UA (en este au) es un desastre y muy triste :')

Kaminari was so cute when he was little. His parents being pro heros he can totally relate to todoroki but without the whole water on the face thing. Also his little sister is so cute.

This is sad but hopeful in its own way. Denki's quirk isn't his but he got to keep it because of his brother passing away. That's probably why his quirk hurts him. Technically not his quirk.

I have a backstory Idea for him so he comes from a really big family he was often compared to his siblings in middle school he was just another kaminari he wanted to go to ya so he could impress his parents the hole summer he trained and trained when he got to the ua entrance exam he noticed everyone had big personalities and he didn’t want to be forgotten again so he faced his personality he forced himself to be friends with people he couldn’t stand like bakugo he would make plans with them even if getting out of bed got harder and harder everyday he had to get up or risk being forgotten

YES! And his sister had the same as Todoroki's. That's because she went to an "elite" kindergarten (as she had a quirk), but Denki went to the ordinary one.. (even though parents wanted to make it better, I think, they were wrong at this point)
